      @CamberFilmSchool  4 года назад +3

      The T2i video bitrate is about the same as the T7 & T6 so I'd go with the 64GB ( amzn.to/2CxYZsH ) SD card for that. 💾

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  4 года назад +1

      Sounds like you just need to format the card, Danielle. Go into your camera settings and scroll through until you see a "format" option. Different cameras write in different formats to memory cards and new memory cards are delivered in a generic format. You have to "format" it to your camera so that it's set up to record the way your camera is designed to record.

      I'd get a 128GB card, but you need to be aware that you won't be able to hit record and leave it running. The camera will automatically stop after 30 minutes so you'll want to set a timer to remind yourself to restart the recording.

      This ( amzn.to/3Z0L7PZ ) should work fine for you, but be aware that the 7D can only record for 12 minutes at a time in FHD. It’ll automatically stop recording and you’ll have to restart a new video clip each time it hits 12 minutes.

    While reading the manual found:
    - SD, SDHC and SDXC Memor Cards
    - Compatible with SD Speed Class
    - Not compatible with UHS spped class cards
    The one that you suggest us is fully compatible? (San Disk Extreme Pro 64 GB 95/s)

      If you look at the card I suggested, it has a 10 with a C around it which stands for Class 10 meaning that it can write up to 10MB/s sustained, which is the same as U1. So the card will still work fine for that. If you want to understand more about what the different numbers mean, check out this video I made explaining what all the numbers and symbols on SD cards mean 👉🏼 ruclips.net/video/ZmVir_BbITA/видео.html

Should I go with 32g or 64g? How many pics would I be able to store? Does size effect quality on photos?

    Hi Camber! I hope you can help me. I have a Cannon Rebel T6 EOS 1300D camera. I just started shooting videos for RUclips, which I would like to be at least 30 minutes sometimes, but it stops around the 12 minute mark automatically - nothing pops up either, it just stops. The disc I have in it is a "SanDisk Ultra Plus 128 GB (130 MB/s and says V10 and an "I' underneath that, and a "10" in a circle." Do you think this is the problem? I assumed 128 GB was more than the 64 GB you recommended, but then again, I don't know very much about camera's etc. I appreciate any help you can give. :)

    I have a 60d and was having trouble shooting with Lexar Professional 663x 64gb UHS-I/U-I, was getting lots of "automatically ending video" messages, so I figured maybe I'd upgrade and went ordered Lexar Professional 1667x 128gb UHS-II. But after ordering I'm now worried it might not be compatible? The camera was also getting warm when it quit, but I assumed that was the camera trying to cram too much into the card. I haven't tried it shooting with the new card yet, did I overshoot with the upgrade? Will the card be compatible? Should I just keep the card and upgrade to the 90d lol?

    • @CamberFilmSchool
      @CamberFilmSchool  4 года назад +1

      That's an older camera so I'm not sure about compatibility. Have you tried looking in the manual to see what the recommended max card size is? As far as the heating up, depends on your video settings. Are you shooting outside in the heat? Ambient temperature makes a big difference too. And how long are you recording when this happens?

      You'll probably have to get a SDHC card (maxes out at 32GB). SDXC cards have newer filing systems that a T1i probably won't recognize.
