  • Just a brief run down of my engine that I’ve been building.

    I have a build coming along also. It’s a aluminum rod, 10.5:1 comp, AMMFab max effort head, BC3 cams with Rev valves, JMB intake manifold with AGP kit with Precision BB 5858. I know my limiting factor is my turbo kit. I bought the kit when I thought I was just going to do stock internal build hence the smaller turbo but plans changed. I’ll play around with the smaller turbo until I can afford a nice tubular kit. Good luck on your build.

    Wild build lots of money looks sweet I just redid my 1g 2.0 acr still on a hann manifold and crane cams currently limited by my s20g. Hopefully we can squeeze 600 out of it this time. Wondering when's that spool? I know my s20g isnt small with its td06h4 turbine but spool isnt terrible I think I'm seeing 20psi around 3500rpm. You should consider running your catch cans to the down pipe. I found I was able to pull a strong vacuum in boost and if it pukes it goes in the exhaust and not all over.

      @@AncientFlorida i know what u mean there bro...it took forever to get mine where its at and now im workn on a new set up for it too..going stand alone ecu this time to get rid of some of the older electronics and get it up to date with the times lol...where u from in NC?

    Great build👍👍. Is your crank keyed for the ati damper? I’m also leaning toward buying a billet tone wheel for extra protection. What was the torque spec to installing the new tone wheel with those 4 bolts?

      JT15 no i didn’t do that i didn’t see it being necessary with this build. The wheel i bolted to the stock specs in the fsm i think like 45ft lbs with red loctite, and then i took a chisel punch and deformed the bolt head into the tone ring so it wouldn’t move.

    Not the bottom end of the block I know Harley anything is stock with a 800whp build, what in asking is the cylinder walls, the cast iron long block from factory how much power (hp) can it hold??

      Jaylen Cuffy the block is good up to about 700hp before you should reinforce the main caps with a crank strap kit. The stock cast crank itself shouldn’t be pushed past 800hp. The block with caps will go up to about 1000hp before you should half fill the block. With a billet crank ($3000+) billet tone wheel, billet oil pump gears, filled block, you can push on up to like 12-1400hp is the record im not sure.

      Rossboss apple sauce hey man whats up? Engine is off the stand now and the cars engine bay is getting painted so next video I’d like to start with it installed which should be soon. Still alot of stuff to get

      Occasional Street, maybe drag but prolly wont be 100% to pass inspection.

    How much was that and where can I get one,,. I want to put like 10g's in my stage 2 motor but I'm clueless,,. Looking up info is mind boggling,,. I want this thing to be a beast where I'm at,,. Been looking up agp kits and they have a nice one for $4,500 but I know then it needs more upgrades in other places and I'm not sure what all to do to get the most power and not to damage the motor badly,,. Would appreciate some help before I dump a lot of money and then it's not like I want

      Larry Combs best thing to do is start buying parts because sooner or later it’s gonna have to happen. I’ve spent 32k on my neon and I figure it’ll be around 45k before it’s finished. And that’s just parts, 1000$ in machine work.

      I’m running slightly looser bearing clearances for 1 so the additional oil pressure will be nice, #2the pistons are forged and don’t require them, it’s really up to the user. They are known to break off as well

      Billet Shaft from Realtune or Liberty depending on if Realtune falls through on the group buy, and the rest will be liberty parts, (3/4 gear). Spec clutch triple disc
