- Here is episode 1 of the actual tuning process on our Can Am. Lots of behind-the-scenes footage with KMS performance and MTS Off-Road as they dyno our stock X3 to get baseline horsepower numbers before we go ALL IN!!! Part 2 will be released next which will document the clutch tuning - so be sure that you are subscribed and that you are getting notified!!!

Yeah it does seem strange, we don't know why they would do that! But guess what?! We're dialed now!!! LOL. Can't wait for Pismo!

Lol, you know how we roll! Plus if we put all of the footage into one video you'd have to be sitting there watching it all weekend and we want people to get outside and ride!
I really like the idea an an MPG tune. I spend a good amount of time exploring ghost towns in northern Nevada with my wife and 12 year-old son following me. I could use the added fuel economy during our 175 mile per day trips. Where'd you say this KMS place is??? I need to make a trip to AZ. Thanks for the great info!

Soo you can change through all these tunes with no crack pressure change or injector changes?
I don't know if the injectors are changed out or not or if there's an initial crack pressure change or what the technology involved is. That is not the tune that was installed on our car but we have passed this question on to KMS.
The Flex Fuel package includes big injectors and the cracked pressure is changed electronically. So yes, you empty the tank, change your fuel, select your tune and off you go!

Is this only for the X3? Is KMS coming out with the flex fuel tune for the rzr?
They do offer the flex fuel for the RZR. Here's a link to an event they're having in Glamis on the 30th but you can give them a call if you would like to look into having your car tuned.
