Sarah does an amazing commercial collections but....i don't even feel the Mcqueen spirit...

      @tonydong6369 4 года назад +4

Yes, i got the same feeling. We can found the icons, shapes and patterns of McQueen, but we cannot see the savage DNA and spirits of Alexander in this collection.

right ? for the first half of the video i was like "where's the mcqueen besides the red-black-white colorway ?" and then the fashion vampire cosplays arrived, finally

Like literally that’s was me and a lot I mean a lot friends we been said that, like we love this nice cuts and grunge outfit but they need someone young, crazy and ready to shock the world I don’t think they see it! like be honest who is wearing Alexander McQueen this days and for some reason I feel like they letting the spirit and the vibe of Alexander die little by little 😞😔

@@joshuagasca2908 It's call capitalism! Mcqueen needed to sell more to be able to stay open! It happened with Dior with the Maria Grazia pedestrian couture, Gucci with the ludic couture of Alessandro Michele and etc...! Nowadays ''Mcqueen'' sell immensely more than when Lee was alive. So kudos to Sarah for making this brand a million dollar worthy business. But in another hand this has nothing to do with the ''fighting for the Mcqueen legacy'' bullshit that they always said, this is pure marketing! They don't fucking care about anything about he did for the fashion, art and history of this planet. They just literally needed a brand with a interesting story behind it so like this they can profit a ton from it! Because they know the fashion buyers nowadays just by things from brands with ''heritage'' ''legacy'' ''history'' and etc.

A truly beautiful collection' it brilliantly showed the juxtaposition of beauty' strength and elegance combined making it one of the season's strongest shows.the prints ,colors and play between hard and soft fabrics were not only lovely but substantial but never looked overworked ,it was simply divine. Well done 👏

Alexander was a fashion force! unfortunately, we will NEVER see again. THe fashion industry has changed for the worst, since the take-over by big $, THEY have to have bank coming in. Which means...mediocrity RULES and creativity went out the window. SELL SELL SELL!

Dear Sarah Burton! Please do us all a favor and DO NOT show up like this at the end of your great shows. Please! The is absolutely pathetic! Always this "Don't watch me, I am not here!"-look with jeans and sneakers. Always this stumbling out and running back again one second later. This is the west at its worst. Sooo humble and shy and modest. Russian fashion ladies are receiving flowers, they walk their runway with pride, they are part of their show. The hide-and-seek-game of many of "our" designers is just annoying.

Dont wanna be a hater but why are most models white and black only? Asians are some of the biggest consumers of these brands and get underrepresented? Asians should stop spending on them tbh

    • @sfunyc1281

@OnWingsOfHope im just being realistic, asian consumers should let their voices be heard. They put all these africans, like if a tribal woman from a village in africa is going to buy a thousands dollars dress LMAO

You seem to be confuse and wrong about 3 things:
1- Asians are not primal costumers in Western Market, they do consume western fashion but the manufacture is Asian.
2-this are not African models they're American black models and England models.
3-there is Asian models in this show and they're from Asian countries and a few from America.
4- African consumers and black ppl are general costumers of western high fashion as they're consumers of McQueen in the same way Asians and Middle Eastern are too, just check data and statistics of who is buying sertain products in fashion. It's almost even but varies every season.
5- brands sell products in all contingents and there is special ads and ways of selling in every market, the Asian market is bigger than the western market there is more Asian ppl in the world than white ppl, and brands advertise their products in every market, this show is in England not in Asian market. I've seen shows in Asia and they use 100% Asian models which is bad too because lack of diversity. Even though Asians are majority in the world in 2020 in the oriental culture and the world in general.
6-I know you see many Asian ppl wearing designer and makes you think Asians are a main market in wester culture and Asian culture, but they hardly can pay rent and they don't have cars and they mostly use fake products mostly young ppl, Asians are a major market for counterfeit so don't think they're a major costumers, you can be fooled.
there is plenty Asians models in this show.
and in general in western culture Africans are most close to the culture than Asians, there is many black ppl as costumers of McQueen and fashion in general
in other hand oriental culture is separated from western culture, there is Asian emigrants in every western country but they're not a majority as you think.
also this black models are from England and American they are not from Africa... 🤦‍♂️ I think you are confused about the haircuts and you think they have to look more "white" and dress like white ppl because that's what Asians do and they bleach their skin and copy the style of white ppl because Asians think they have to fit in, that's not how African Americans or African European ppl think, they like to express themselves and perpetuate their culture, that's why they use afros and short hair, I think thats your confusion.
