Careful Beard. Vegans are known for not having a sense of humor. Actually quite the opposite. Being known for having a rather foul temper and being spiteful. If they think that you might be making slight of their cause, they tend to be quite rabid in their response. Personally I think all they need is some good sex and a cheeseburger.
Thoroughly pisses me off reading unnecessary rude comments about Ms Beard. (What do they gain from making those comments?) She’s clearly such a lovely person and those hateful people need to get a life 😊 keep up the great content ❤️
Love this video, I've been vegan for around 16 years but also love watching all of your videos as I'm a massive foodie!! It's really hit and miss with vegan processed food and it definitely takes a bit of getting use to, it certainly takes a lot of dedication!! Fair play for trying all these vegan foods though 👏
I've been vegan for 9 years and I love it but you have to be picky about where and what you get for a fast food treat. I live in Canada and haven't seen half of these options, I'll have to check these places out. Love both of you and all your videos! My kids love you too!
They will if they think there is money in it. As a lactose-intolerant person, we’d appreciate the options. I also prefer gluten-free. But here’s the thing, it has to be low sugar too. Most vegan options I see is desserts. @@1Jetsurf
Trust me, the problem isn’t that the food is vegan. The problem is that the food is produced by people who don’t have skill or experience in vegan cooking/ food creation. Speaking from personal and professional experience, vegan food is delicious when done by the right chef/ produced by the right restaurant chain. Cheers for your videos mate- they’re my new obsession! ☺️

For Mcdees industriual junk food, this one is really not bad at all !! @@radiomandelbrot5868 I'm not a fan of Subway, but I do know it often smells of bread, perhaps also meat or pickles, who knows. That's why I asked. I wouldn't think "rancid" would be an adjective compatible with "gorgeous". Working for a fishmonger would probably be one of the worst food jobs.

Burger King do now have a plant based burger but not many people see if you read the small print in the advertisement it’s actually cooked on the same grill as the original whopper!!

I'm vegan in a not very vegan friendly area in the States so we don't really have vegan options in restaurants here. It's really interesting to see all the things available in your area. I agree it's really hard to find good store bought vegan cheese. It's much better when you make it yourself. I do like marmite, tho. Thanks!

I'm vegan and I actually really enjoyed this video! I've spent so many years getting myself used to the crappy fake cheese in things that I can't remember what dairy cheese tastes like and its funny seeing what its like for people switching now!! I've only had the greggs and subway and I agree the subway is rubbish! won't bother trying the rest!!
The reason why Macdonalds chips were not vegan is that they use a preservative made from some form of beef - it was not much to do with the oil - there was a big uproar here in South Africa over it - not sure if it ever changed here though
In fairness the best vegan sausages I have had are branded Cauldron which is stocked by both Morrisons and Sainsbury's and taste like the meat equivalent, they are excellent. The best vegan 'cheese' I have had is Sainsbury's which doesn't taste like cheese and is obviously based on Coconut oil but it does have a pleasant flavour and you can grill it on toast like cheese, the only drawback is cost really.
Also to understand why there is more protein in plant based foods you might want to watch game changers. And ask yourself, what do cows, pigs, chicken etc eat?

Vegan almost 7 years and I rate all of what you’ve eaten under 4/10 most of the franchise vegan fast food is only to be eaten in desperation. Vegans don’t eat that stuff. If you want great fast food you need to go to independent vegan fast food places because they take pride in their food and if you have more time you go for Indian, Chinese or Thai food.
Impossible Whopper is garbage! BK is about to end it because people hate it! has a bitter taste and does not taste like a real burger! vegan food is nothing but a bunch of BS and is an agenda, not another food alternative, people that love and eat only vegan food are mental cases.

Vegan cheese is like hardened plastic when overcooked on pizza. Otherwise it is very low fat and some people like it as a cheese substitute to keep saturated fat levels down. It is not a bad idea to have a small bowl of oatmeal a day or so before such an injestion of 10,000 calories to tune up the intestine for such a load.

I am not saying I hate vegan food and I love my vegetables just fine, having stomach issues most of my life I can't eat too much stuff with pulp, skins( like potato, tomato, ect.), and things with high fiber count such as beans and other wonderful vegetables. I enjoy your videos and sympathize with not feeling good after eating so many vegan options. Take Care and enjoy the new year.
Please do another vegan fast food challenge, but go to real vegan places that are exclusively vegan and not those terrible fast food franchises trying to poison you.
Depends on your reason for eating it. For me I have a meat allergy so the vegan versions are healthier for me in a sense that after eating it I Don’t end up in hospital
@@lulubell31 Which is stupid. They won't eat eggs or honey. I have backyard hens who live happy, healthy lives. I also have bees, and they pollinate my garden and evereone else's garden plus I get honey. They dont suffer a bit, in fact I keep them alive during lean times.
I'm vegan and I love the KFC burger! If it was dry they probably scrimped on the mayo! I'm hoping they start the vegan buckets of chicken soon Also the vegan pattie from subway with the vegan aioli is far superior to the meatless meatball marinara. But Papa Johns beats them all
Not quite sure on the story but Greggs have had such a success with their Vegan Sausage Roll that they have just shared a £7m bonus across all employees. It is Quorn (i'm allergic to but love it) but the pastry is the one thing that puts me off. The vegan steak bake.. not sure on that either but it sounds like Greggs has been the only people to produce tasty vegan food.

Vegan cheese is like hardened plastic when overcooked on pizza. Otherwise it is very low fat and some people like it as a cheese substitute to keep saturated fat levels down. It is not a bad idea to have a small bowl of oatmeal a day or so before such an injestion of 10,000 calories to tune up the intestine for such a load.

I am not saying I hate vegan food and I love my vegetables just fine, having stomach issues most of my life I can't eat too much stuff with pulp, skins( like potato, tomato, ect.), and things with high fiber count such as beans and other wonderful vegetables. I enjoy your videos and sympathize with not feeling good after eating so many vegan options. Take Care and enjoy the new year.

The ironic part is most of those vegan things like the impossible whopper is worse for you than the real version. Way more sodium and costs more.
True! But most vegans don't do it for health reasons, they do it because of animal cruelty.
The impossible burger is not vegan and the health benefits are overwhelming
Depends on your reason for eating it. For me I have a meat allergy so the vegan versions are healthier for me in a sense that after eating it I Don’t end up in hospital

@@lulubell31 Which is stupid. They won't eat eggs or honey. I have backyard hens who live happy, healthy lives. I also have bees, and they pollinate my garden and evereone else's garden plus I get honey. They dont suffer a bit, in fact I keep them alive during lean times.
It's because it's difficult to make processed vegan food. The gregs food is likely fresh and that's why it taste good.
I'm vegan and I love the KFC burger! If it was dry they probably scrimped on the mayo! I'm hoping they start the vegan buckets of chicken soon
Also the vegan pattie from subway with the vegan aioli is far superior to the meatless meatball marinara. But Papa Johns beats them all
Not quite sure on the story but Greggs have had such a success with their Vegan Sausage Roll that they have just shared a £7m bonus across all employees. It is Quorn (i'm allergic to but love it) but the pastry is the one thing that puts me off. The vegan steak bake.. not sure on that either but it sounds like Greggs has been the only people to produce tasty vegan food.
