Hurricane Creek is our favorite
That is a favorite place of ours too
Loved this! I did Hurricane Creek in my stock Jeep lol. I know that rock your talking about leaning on 😂 scary stuff lol
Fun trail.
I just wanted to tell you all that my wife and I just found your youtube page and have been really enjoying your videos! This is the kind of Overlanding we would like to do once we get our new Jeeps rigged up!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for the awesome compliment and for watching! Glad you found us too.
Great overlanding
Thank you!
Great you tube channel have watched it all day hi bill and deb
👋
Keep the videos coming. I was “jonesing” for one
Great vid. We did Hurricane Creek a while back but in the opposite direction. That muddy hill at 5:00 is a fun climb even when it's dry. Great test of suspension 🤙
Another GREAT video!!!
Thank you!
Great going! As always, always enjoy ya’alls adventures!
Thank you very much! We are glad you like them.
Great job on the well thought out suspension and tire upgrades. Seems to be working well. My wife and I are in NE Georgia and camp with similar type trails but my worst nightmare is her slipping and breaking or spraining something. Just can't stand to see her in pain. Get your girl some hiking boots and jeans or get her to wear 'em if she's got 'em. Great balancing act back there, but skeery slippery. Looking forward to the Max trail ;).
Thanks from the compliment on the suspension. Deb does have several pairs of hiking boots however, she can be very stubborn.....
Love from...INDIA
Thank you!
Great trail, ran it last Thursday (March 2021) and the section at 6:00 is way more rutted out now. Took a land cruiser 200 through no problem but a full size long pick up would be dragging tail a lot through sections. Just a trail condition update for anyone thinking of running it. I’ve seen comments on other videos saying 2WD vehicles and Subaru’s could do this trail. This is no longer the case.
Thanks for the update!
I went 12/29/21, did it with an 01 Mercedes ML320 with A/T 33" Cooper Discover tires and a 1" lift, the Mercedez with it's low gear 4MATIC 4wd system was able to concord Hurricane Creek all the way to Max Patch, yes great articulation is the way to go with this trail, my Mercedes was lifting on and 2 wheels on many occasions, it was much fun, my brother in law had a 21 Toyota Thundra TRD Pro on a 3" lift and 34" tires, damaged the side step and some of the trim moldings of the vehicles
Thanks for the update.
Your getting there~~ 57 subscribers to go !! Such excellent videos. I wish they would dump a load of gravel at the trail start and have people just take a buck when they ride the trail and dump it in those galleys!! LOL... It would probably repair the trail in 3 weeks with the number of folks that drive it! Max Patch has been a zoo, way too many people. Can't wait to see what you found!
The Gulley's are definitely getting a little deep... We got max patch about two hours before dark. There wasn't a whole lot of people. It sure is a beautiful place.
Turned into a nice day and a nice ride. Thanks t
For the video. Not far from me!
It did turn out to be a great day. Thanks for watching!
Great video!!! Can’t wait to hit up this area next spring!
Thanks for the compliment! This area is a lot of fun
Coddiwomple Overland do you think these trails are to tight for a power wagon? Great Video, keep up the good work
I have seen Kelly do much tighter trails in his PW. You should be fine
Great video, I was there about a week after you uploaded this.
Thanks for the great compliment! It was definitely a fun trail
✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Hi, I enjoy watching your videos and always look forward to the next one. I am curious to know how many miles are on your jeep today, seems like she just keeps running.
Thank you! We are glad you like the channel. Our Jeep is 2011 models with just over 141,000 miles on it.
Thanks for the great videos! We are going to tackle Hurricane Creek after watching your videos. What camera/gimble are you guys using from inside the Jeep? Love how smooth that is.
Thank you! Hurricane Creek is a blast. We use a GoPro Hero 7 Black with just a standard mount
I cam across your channel while looking up some info on the Linville Gorge area and Old NC 105. Any particular recommendations as to the best overlanding experiences for this area?
That whole area is awesome. In addition to Linville Gorge, check out Wilson Creek. You won't be disappointed!
Disconnect sway bar once and you'll never go back 👍
Thats a fact!
ah that last obstacle was filled in recently.
Hope they don't mess with the rest of it.
Any camping spots on this trail? Great vid!
Thanks! There are a few spots
😎😎💪
Why was this road put in and by whom
Really not sure but i think it may have been an old wagon road
Would a stock 97 wrangler on 32's have any trouble on this trail? im wanting to do it this coming Saturday.
We have not been through there since April. Back then it would have been fine, trail conditions are always changing. Make sure you take recovery gear and a buddy you should be fine.
@@CoddiwompleOverland ok im bringing a friend of mine and I always have a tow strap in my jeep till I get a winch
@@CoddiwompleOverland just got back from the trail I didn't have the ground clearance to do the entire track but I had a great time
Hate you didn't get through it but glad you had a great time
Well if you get stuck, the boogers will push you out😜
Thanks for watching
There is your 1000
Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the experiences shares THANK YOU
We are so glad you like them. We will definitely keep.them coming!
