@RnW9384 I have since used castor oil on toes, rubbing it in separating them, on feet. Hands I use Rosemary oil, face vit C hyaluronic, rosemary, lavender and castor. and almond on breasts. Enough :)

Another excellent video with essential informations ❤. I'd add something - everyone should check is the R-ALA stabilized - than is multiple times more effective!! And - if it's not written on the package - probably isn't... I also need to ask you for advice - is it safe to take P-HCL and P-5-P at the same time? I take 10-12 mg of P-HCL 'cause it's almost in every suplement...I also take 50 mg of P-5-P. Does P-HCL inhibit the P-5-P as the S- ALA does to R-ALA? Thanks again and greetings from Serbia ! ❤

Thank you for all the adequate information! What do you think of Inositol (B8), can it help prevent Neuropathy (diabetes 2)? My sister takes Metformin (doctor's prescription) but it doesn't lower her blood suger. She's eating LCHF (thin), has low blood pressure but high blood fats. She takes Benfotiamine, R-ALA and Chrome.

How long to see results?
I really learned with this video, but I read some people have discomfort with the stomach. I'm very delicate. I haven't been able to walk for 4 years. Before spent in occasions like a year. I have multiple problems in spine. Not peripheral neuropathy but come from my lower back. I had lumbar disectomy many years ago but then again herniated discs in lumbar area. Posterior injuries. The worse in 2020 together with other living situations, divorce, I lived tons of stress. But I feel burning in my legs, I have also sacroilitis more pronounced in right. And illiopsoas tendonitis. Disc degneration, I can't have anything bad on the stomach, I also deal with treatment for depression but not so bad. I had more scar tissue before in lower back for the result of epidural injection on L5_S1 but decreased with radiofrequency, Tuina and acupunture long time after. I really want to try this but Im afraid on my stomach. Can't find any supplement in the market with these ingredients. I follow an antiimflamatory diet, and not anymore gluten, before once on awhile since I have genes of celiac disease. Maybe I should try this just less amount. Im very skinny now and not muscles. Im 61 yeas old. Help!!!!
I've been battling neuropathy in both of my calves and feet for a little over a year now. My doctor has me on Gabapentin and Tramadol which I hate taking and honestly doesn't really help that much...they've even recommended a Spinal Cord Stimulator and after doing a little research, I don't wanna go that route either.
So I'm gonna try a more natural approach, and I've watched quite a few videos on RUclips and eventually I came across your channel The Nerve Doctors. You have the best explanation of how supplements work and don't work (cheap supplements) for neuropathy. Dr Monteiro, I am from India, a female in my early seventies. Although I asked my doctor to prescribe me the vital nutrients for nerve support, he did not give much importance to the 'R' in the ALA. The pain in my foot was diagnosed as having 2nd and 3rd web bursal - neuroma complex after an ultrasound result, and the pain actually ran up to my legs. I also have a celiac, maybe that's why my body is not able to absorb nutrients well? I have heard you can take Alpha Lipoic and R-Alpha Lipoic together, some get help from the regular Alpha Lipoic but the R-Alpha Lipoic is better!😲

You need to address the stomachs inability to absorb V B12 in older age or with stomach damage. Intrinsic factor not working correctly.
I have taking these nutrient and they do work. But be patient it takes a couple of months to make good progress.

There are mixed results with L-citrulline supplementation with some studies showing that it doesn't prevent/improve neuropathy at all.

What’re the sizes of your pills? Why do you have calcium and vitamin E in your pills, how do they help for the nerves?
I have been taking two Nuphoria capsules per day for PHN (post herpetic neuralgia) from shingles since June 2023 and it has helped reduce the pain as well as I believe it is repairing the nerve damage the shingles has caused. It took a while but I have not had any flare ups and the burning pain has been reduced to a level 3, this has occurred within the last couple of months. I am very happy. I have had PHN since October 2019 and I feel I am on the way to recovering from this terrible condition. I also just started using the cream and it helps for the burning pain.
