This video is very touching and has lots of information. My dear father was diagnosed last year. It was a hard pill to swallow but we are grateful to have him with us. He is now in his late 80s.

They may feel relieved to know what is wrong or grateful to be able to plan ahead after receiving a dementia diagnosis. Some people may have difficulty dealing with these feelings. They may be concerned about the future, concerned about periods of confusion and forgetfulness, and concerned about the impact dementia has on others around them. This happened to my father, who now lives at silvergaterr.

Was there a reason why they only chose sufferers that live in beautiful rural locations?

Does anyone know who made the 70s documentary about a young mans father who slowly deteriorated? I think it was Ross Mc Elwee but I may be wrong

There is an enzyme also known as STEP that eradicates the brain's functionality and causes Alzheimer's. Indeed, by combining the proper nutrients and training the brain, you are able to reverse Azheimer's disease or other dementia forms symptoms.

This is rubbish - my family member has an amazingly healthy diet and has always used their brain to its fullest - dont make people feel that it is their fault for not reversing their dementia.

If that was the case, people living with dementia would be assigned a nutritionist and/or dietitian, and they would all be cured. There is some evidence to say diet can help in some circumstances, but don't give people false hope.

Brain Failure is irreversible. Unless you are talking about Delirium induced.
Please educate yourself before you give people false hope.
There are most certainly some food choices that do help such as fish, honey ect. But again, the brain requires some on the nutritional value to function. It may assist in "some better days'. But is doesn't reverse it.
