- We gone fishin' at the beautiful and peaceful Ban Tai Beach in Maenam, Koh Samui. There were a few hiccups along the way but we managed to cook our fish "Thai -style" and eat it too. A delicious meal with an ultimate view!

It was so much fun even though we didn't catch anything. Good thing we had backup plan ☺️ There were at least 5 puppies there wanting to have a picnic with us. So cute!
Fresh shrimp, catch fish while fishing and then cook it very well with a view of the beach with clean white sand and mountains and very nice blue sky, stay healthy and happy always.

You two are so good natured. I cannot be in Thailand right now but my girlfriend, a Bangkok school teacher and farmer from Sisaket is going to Koh Samui. She will be there on the 12 through 15 of April with her niece. She will be staying at La Vida Samui. Neither of us has been before and I wish I could be with her. We love Chiang Mai and Phuket too, we were there together last year before Covid. I had a year Visa but went back to the USA but was unable to return. Thank you for sharing your travels together, you make me happy.

Yes, come to Green Coconut Village and I'll organise it for you :) your rods are probably too long though. We can do it traditionally holding wire by hands. Fish isn't that big but catch is almost inevitable it's delicious

I didn't know that flour is mixed into the salt I want to make this at home!
Yeah! It helps the salt stay better and it’s easier to peel the skin off after it’s cooked. So easy and so delicious! I think it’s going to be a staple dish for us now 😂

Thank you Flora for pronouncing the Thai word, KOH, correctly. It's pronounced with a soft (o) like in the word GOLF but non-Thais always mispronounce it with a hard (o) like in the word COKE.
Note’s Thai and he’s always checking my pronunciation 😂 I’m working on improving my Thai, I’d love to be able to speak it fluently one day.
