Donna you did very well with the shopping and the proce you paid was great I've not done a proper shop since before Christmas I love chicken casserole made with chicken thighs i made a cottage pie last week and my son said mum I really enjoyed it so I'm making one tonight and tomorrow it's sausage and mash I'll have to ho shopping through the week I think ill ho aldi I've not been for ages oh i love pasta bake if you wanted for a change you could mix chopped up ham or bacon or sausage into the pasta bake but seeing the boys love it just pasta and sauce and they enjoy it well that's all that matters .that reminds me when I was a kid I'm one of 6 kids and every now and then we eiuld have long spaghetti and tomomatoes tinned ones and cheese on top and we enjoyed it think it was a tea my dad made cos mum was a meat a veg person looking back we would have a dinner at school and another cooked dinner at home and j font know where we put it but j was only a kid and kids are always hungry love fran xxxx

Hiya Donna, I like Aldi but shop for certain things I especially like from Lidl. Their bakery does sell some good breads and pastries. You’ve done well with your weekly shop, feel better real soon tfs Jax 🥰
Hi Donna. Have you considered Sainsbury's?? I've found them surprisingly good value for money recently, a lot of products matched with Aldi, and a lot of products considerably cheaper than Asda. A few years ago, I never would have even considered Sainsbury's to be in the same category as Aldi/Lidl/Asda/Tesco.

i recommend using the boneless chicken thigh fillets from lidl u get more meat off them than the normal thighs

I have never seen tenderstem broccoli here in Quebec Canada. Prices are darn good. Our prices are much higher.

That’s cheap for red onions ..they wouldn’t to shop here in Australia…that would be about nearly $5

I do get those from Asda but wasn’t going to make a special trip to Asda just for grapes!
