Wow!! Other than the backwards thingamajig, there is also some crazy hitbox abuse going on there! How did that first shot even hit ?!?!
You mention being lined up with the enemy's axis for this combo to be possible. I've been playing Vesperia lately and the axis also plays a huge part in making some chains possible or consistent.
You think there could be some odd behavior by starting a combo from the enemy's side or something like that? For example, would the Falling Thunder reverse hitbox thing work on a opponent with big (BIG) arms (does any even exist)?
    Anyways, great combo!!

      Thanks VCent!
Surprisingly, the first backwards hitbox in this combo is also the most consistent. For some reason, Gun L1 Forward has a *huge* backwards hitbox, possibly as big as its forward hitbox even. Because of that, and the fact that it also pushes Ludger back, this move can be used as a sidegrade to Scatter Bolt and Meteoric Waltz (Ground) in situations where you need to close the gap from behind.
As far as axis stuff goes, yeah definitely! Most of my hurtbox abuse stems from bullying monsters with huge tails, but I can definitely tell you that there are some monster bosses out there with the possibility for highly specific combo setups thanks to other body parts. As far as big arm enemies go, the "Bear" type monster bosses (Blaze Claw and his various clones) come to mind. I have yet to lab out a combo on Blaze Claw in my current run, but you've definitely given me some ideas, haha.
...On that note, not to spoil anything big, but Odin (and by extention Otulp) have a hurtbox shorter on the front side than it is on the back. Because of that, certain artes will give you different trajectories if you manage to hit him near the top of his head...
