I find it so strange sometimes how the most optimal versions of certain rogue decks are just as if not more expensive than meta, like triple extrav imperm evenly is insane money, like I 100% understand playing those cards in this deck but I'd hope rogue would more frequently be a lot cheaper than meta- as if I had the money to buy a deck as expensive as meta I would buy the meta deck haha I suppose they're more worthwhile investments as they likely won't get hit on future banlists but even so
Something I've seen and I think would be cool to consider is using Kaijus, specifically Radian. it's non targeting removal you can then use as material for rage. Or instead of extrav you may be able to make allure of darkness work with the extra dark types.
Umm, not all members of unchained is dark. Rakia and Aruha was water and fire attributes respectively. You might risk removing from play Unchained souls or having to discard all your hand cards if you don't play cautious with that card.
I’ve been testing Goddess of Sweet Revenge for the cheese. You don’t put a lot of cards on board with Unchained and your hand is usually a bunch on handtraps. It’s gimmicky but I’ve won meta matchups using it and summoning Sarama
Came here from HoC's channel. After seeing your matches, I gotta see this. Also, I'm working on something stupid yet plausible, Unchained Rokkets. (Yes, ik that the Twins lock you into Summoning Fiends, but there is one card that synergies well with them. Aka Tactical Exchanger.)
I came up with a crazy idea using some of the level 4's as a engine (and the links of course). Your explanations and looking up a bit online help me figure out what I need. Thanks. :)
My only advice for improvement is adding an extra Unchained Soul of disaster. If that card get bannished, having or not having an extra one can make or break many games. Also darkhole, torrential tribute and Crack down works wondera for this deck. also, Double Cyclone is a surprisingly good Back row removal/synergizer for this deck since it pops one card on you and your opponents back row.
I'm glad you support Card Brawlers. They're my go to place other than eBay cuz they are based in Canada, as am I. Other sites charge me an arm and a leg for shipping or won't even ship to Canada....
Hey coder you are doing a great job with promoting the rules, but I need your ruling on something: I had destroyed my escaped of the unchained but the opponent had an active abyss Dweller. Would I get the special summon off my escaped of the unchained destruction? Or will it be locked out because it activates in the GY???

I will never understand how you have Disaster at 1, I've tried cutting him down to 2 but still find myself wanting a 3rd. Also your build can't out Dragun so you're definitely gonna have to change some stuff. I personally run a load of lv8 kaijus and because of that and the price of extrav I run 3 Trade-in as I have so many lv8s and its super consistent.

Consider the dark spirits or kaijus? Been playing the deck since about 2 weeks after they originally came out and I've always found that the kaiju engine is a lot more consistent
I actually dropped the Kaijus but play the dark spirits. The kaijus ended up bricking a lot for me but the dark spirits have won me games consistently.

I personally play Trade-in as I have a load of lv8 kaijus and more Soul of Disaster than usual. Also to the other guy, you don't need to play Tour Guide to run the spirits.
I play a small Draco package of dino, true kings return, apocalypse, diagram, and terra. It's nice extra monster removal and the extra pops can be nice but the thing with the Draco package is you kinda need to play Wailing so you have tribute fodder since you don't want to tribute over your twins.
So, to help the extra deck a bit, remove trisbanea, and replace it with IP masquerana. Also, run borrelsword. You can make it and it will help. Also, run crackdown. Not only does it catch an opponent's monster, it will also activate abomination unchained summoning condition. You will thank me.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru IP isn't that hard to make. Use the chains on another monster then crackdown to take a monster. I run anti spell to help with decks like Eldlich
@@TheSuperf12 Well one of the main combos in the deck is using goldenhair to discard whitebeard, and then linking into blackbeard using goldenhair and whatever monster your summon off of whitebeards effect. And/Or using other extenders to achieve the same goal. Usually turn one it's nothing too impressive with maybe 1 monster, blackbeard, and booty. But booty changes attributes and summons a monster back from the GY so against decks like edlich, with that end board you can do this. Blackbeard targets your other monster and then summon Lys - A monster negate & search, and you draw a card. Then you can activate booty targeting the golden lord and, say, whitebeard in the graveyard and summon the whitebeard and then whitebeard can become either Brann (Spell and trap banisher & search) or Moerk (Monster banisher & search) but it really depends on the matchup. I do recommend the deck though.
@@Gilgamesh-em6ru yeah you do have to use the unchained half first, and then the plunder part, which is a shame because the plunder part can give quite a bit of advantage, but plunder unchained is still very fun, I do recommend, but maybe not for competitive use
I been running unchained with a kaiju package with the full ghost hand traps package and it seems to shut down most of these decks with the grind game or early game control I have almost figured out how to get unchained to ftk in its combos still working on the kinks
Gilgamesh 9908 you would have to do the otk on battle phase which you can commit to the 5th summon if you can do the chaining and hold priority to continue a chain which is possible which I still have yet to find a loop hole in the wording with modern cards

To replace imperm I would suggest forbidden chalice/veiler depending on your preference (obv chalice has to be set so not great going second, whereas veiler can be called by the graved) so they both inferior to imperm, but still works well. Personally I'd put DRNM for blinding second and then consider veiler/chalice for when they make you go first. But I've never played this deck so IDK how it would be.
Is there any sort of recommendation for something to use in place of extravagance? It's still unfortunately out of my price range at the moment. Desires seems a bit too risky, there aren't enough level eights to justify trade-in, same with dark monsters and allure of darkness. I might try out sangan and tour guide, since it helps thin the deck more, and it can let me get into rank three xyz (which I'd have more room for since I wouldn't need as many of each link without extravagance) also makes ash and ogre searchable if I don't need to dig for any of the twins with sangan which seems pretty nice for when you have to go first. But I'll admit I'm not super familiar with the current format since the lack of irl play makes it difficult for me to keep up on everything. So that could actually be a terrible idea for competitive play.

I have a question if anyone can help me out. my opponent uses Red-eyes fusion he sent red eyes black dragon and king of the swamp from the deck to summon Dragun of red eyes. I was on Yugioh duel links so I can test black skull dragon sense it has 2 names for materials, and use red-eyes fusion to send red-eyes black dragon and king of the swamp from the deck but the game is not letting me send king of the swamp from the deck but only in the hand. I'm using king of the swamp to sud summon skull for the name. so can my opponent use king of swamp for red-eyes fusion from the deck for dragun of red-eyes. my opponent argues saying he can.

In MY OPINION since you are always blinding second, SWAP OUT the extravs for the dark rulers, and after game 1 (considering you have won and your opponent will force you to go 1rst) swap extravs for the rulers cause when you go 1rst the rulers are almost dead and you will need more than ever the draw power.
Agreed, this deck auto loses to anything that has target + destruction protection or just big boards with multiple interactions so having a single card to turn everything off is phenomenal, however Unchained can brick fiercely so having some sort of draw power is almost 100% necessary.
Dark Ruler No More is kinda bad this format, since it doesn't really do anything unless you open another non-engine unsearchable card to answer the Dragon Buster Destruction Sword.

Why mess about wasting no end of cards to out silly boards when you can just flip a switch and turn it all off for easy pickings. I ain't saying it's wrong to not have dark ruler no more but I'll be damned if it doesn't make a difference to have it in the main
