I love that you make so many great items that are not knifes. As new to Blacksmithing, you have taught me there are so many great things to make not just knifes.
Great toilet tissue roll holder! I love the baroque leaves. And you know...sometimes you just have to stare at the camera to get your internal script back on line. LOL, Thanks Roy!
I like the back and forth rounding motions. I usually will keep it spinning in one direction as i round off square, which works, but is a pain in the butt. Good techniques
You mentioned using the far side of the anvil, hardy hole, or step of the anvil when forming the taper. For an anvil with both round and flat horns, is using the flat horn an option, or does that create other problems?
This is a really cool project that I want to make as a gift. I’m really new to this. Did you have to do anything to the final piece to prevent rusting since it’ll go in a bathroom?
Nice, as always. I think I would have set it up so the tip faced away from the user, less potential product liability lawsuits. And yes, I spend too much time with attorneys!
Never thought I would hear a blacksmith talking about what kind of TP they use, lolol 😂 but, if ya don't, someone out there make one that is to small for their roll🙄
I was thinking about that and if you would scroll the leaf point back over itself to rest on the bar it would add a scroll and the point would be protected by the bar. Just my novice opinion though. Roy is the master here. 👍

ahhhh, i thought the finials were to hook out any stubborn logs
great work, very pleasing piece
Gross... But, resourceful! lol😂
Thank you, Roy.

LoL thanks for watching the full version 😊
Love the Bam tee shirt, Roy! The Roll holder looks real nice. And is a great matching set with the towel holder.
Awesome Roy! Thanks and God Bless you guys!

Thankyou for making it look sooo.. easy. Gives me heights to aspire to. I picked up a few new points for sure😊
you work very very well congratulations
Lovely and very creative! Love the design!!!

Paint it with clear coat
Nice addition to the decor!
EDIT: Love the bloopers! Should be on all videos as a right of passage!
Would drilling the holes be easier before bending the tp holder? Great tip on use of the hardy hole
Thanks Roy! Top shelf, as always.
Like the tips on using the anvil to the greatest effect, without hurting anvil or hammer
Very nice video, good explanation! How do you preserve the metall?

Another great tutorial
Thank you
Great looking bit of kit matey One Idea Point the spike away from the loo or some dope will slip and maybe have an eye out Lovve the look though
That's pretty awesome Roy
Awesome little video lol loved the blooper reel.. also never would in my life ever think I'd have to measure toilet paper haha
Huge props and thanks for also using metric measurments!! Made it much easier for me :))
Very nice hammer control
YOU ALWAYS DO GOOD WORK I LEARN SOMETHING EVERY VIDEO. THANKS!
Awesomeness! I made one of these as soon as i finished your towel rack lesson . Great minds think alike ! 😂
@christcenteredironworks could you have the end that holds the toilet paper centered on the bar? Would that matter any?
Is that a piece of 1 inch x 1/4 inch? It looks thinner.
Now that's a pretty fancy toilet paper holder there.
Great video Roy
Thanks Tim
Loving the bloopers at the end
Controversy -- which way to hang the TP -- over or under.
Never thought I would hear a blacksmith talking about what kind of TP they use, lolol 😂 but, if ya don't, someone out there make one that is to small for their roll🙄
That is too funny. A private video in the Forging in the Bathroom series.😂
One should not be forging in a bathroom. Especially when one has a decent smithy already.
Will be giving this a go!
Love it Roy just something I would think about is the point might be a bit sharp for kids don't want to skewr kids
I was thinking about that and if you would scroll the leaf point back over itself to rest on the bar it would add a scroll and the point would be protected by the bar.

thank you :)
Price range? I have someone that wants 6 tp hangers!
👍🏻👍🏻
Looks really good and thank you for not demonstrating it's functionality "live" 🤣
I can see that pokie part going wrong. It looks to much like a barbed spear for me not to end up hurting myself trying to get off the crapper!
The words just didn’t want to flow at the beginning but you got it accomplished and one less honeydo to do way to go bud
Am I the first to point out that this is forging in the bathroom, “#2” ?!!!
Thanks for another great video, Roy!:)
My tired eyes misread the title thought it was foraging in the bathroom.....
Hilarious! Unless you're foraging corn kernels or watermelon seeds!
Laughed so dang hard I cried!
How does Olga fit in the bathroom?

Hey! Olga's not fat! That's her fighting weight!

Cheapo brand?! Lifes too short to grit your teeth every time you wipe. I started buying charmin and will never look back.
