I am 18 years old and I was born at 27 weeks. After my birth, procedures such as surgeries and lasers were done for me. And if I am not mistaken, my eyes were in stages 3 to 4 and close to 5, but then From all these measures, my right eye improved more, but still my glasses number is very high and I see very poorly. But my left eye did not respond to the treatment and I have very little vision in terms of light and colors or the movement of large objects, and I do not have good vision with my left eye at all. Also, my left eye has severe inward drift and severe unwanted tremors.
I wanted to know what measures can be taken for the future of people with ROP to have better vision and have normal vision. Are retinal transplants or treatments with stem cells or... possible? Because I really need to see better and live like any normal person to continue living. Please reply if you see my comment, it is very important to me, thank you
