I really wish your link worked in your description explaining what setup you use and why. What picatinny do you have on your gun? And will it work with any tripod head/tripod.
Thanks for the feedback! I will do a better job in the future. The picatinny rail came with the rifle, so it's some kind of standard Gunwerks rail. Picatinny is a standard=, like ARCA, so it will work with any head that uses that. FYI it's much better to have the rail further back towards the trigger for balance and accessibility. I would also consider having an ARCA rail instead of pic, as it's a bit heavier but more stable and easier to lock.
Hey buddy, it's a NATO adapter from RRS. rrssoar.com/natodvtl/ You can see my full tripod guide here: www.gregmchaleswildyukon.com/2023/08/28/my-tripod-setup-guide/
The rifle has a Picatinny rail that is received by the ballhead. RRS also make larger plates that attach to the rail and then into an Arco Swiss tripod head. This tripod head will accept both the rail and Arca Swiss plates.
Rightstuff tripods are way overpriced INNOREL RT90CM for example will get most shooters in the door with a very strong and agile tripod, Evumo also and Artcise as well actually Artcise has an 82" Carbon fiber tripod that would be hard to beet with even a $1k + tripod..! I have an Evumo xt9s Tripods are priceless Gems in the field or Range there a must!!!

Where do I buy the pieces that bolt on to your rifle?
If you have a Picattiny rail you can use this: rrssoar.com/natodvtl/ Ideally you would have an ARCA rail on the rifle.
What is the top piece of equipment/portion connected to the ball head, the price you connect the gun into?
