Because it's stock car racing. It's allowed, it's legal, and Nascar racecars are not as expensive as F1 cars which are more delicate. And the fact that you have WAY less room to save the car if you are bumped (this is why F1 penalizes bumping on purpose)
But then again, Nascar bumping, and drivers getting revenge is indeed VERY ENTERTAINING (I'm not being sarcastic, it actually is fun to see, sometimes even satisfying depending on the driver getting bumped)

As a Nascar fan, I will say, in my opinion, that Vegas is probably the hardest track to run on, especially turn 1 and 2
F1 isn't racing. It's an engineering performance competition lol there's no actual racing that goes on. Those guys never race each other. They just pace with track position

I said this but I'm gonna say it again.
you don't and should not compare motorsports, a real smart racing fan knows that if we watch racing, it's for the drivers, to see who wins! Not really for the cars. ALSO, nothing states anywhere that high-tech aerodynamic racing cars belong to F1, technology is for everyone, as stated before, it's for the drivers that we watch racing. I'm gonna get of topic here but I hate to see when people say "NASCAR isn't a sport at all! it's for lazy drivers!" or "NASCAR is just Americans doing left turns".
FIRST OF ALL, I've noticed that many of the people who say NASCAR sucks or "it's just left turns" usually know nothing about NASCAR (and that kids is what's more known as "cliché"). My second point is that oval racing is not as easy as it looks! And also another point is that, whether you are doing oval or road courses, YOU ARE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU NEED TO BRAKE! IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU NEED TO TURN HARDER! Both are DIFFERENT! (if this world still knows what "different" means). Both have very different racing strategies and ways of overtaking! And another thing is that NASCAR is not about crashing cars, the reason people see it like this is because of popular culture (usually NASCAR crashes are quite spectacular. ALSO, cars touching each other or slightly hitting each other is common in racing (always remember that cars are machines and so... they don't have instant reaction or "natural" reactions, they have "mechanical" reactions, which makes it more common for them to crash or touch). Also to make this clear, NASCAR does make road course races.
I can afford the tickets I just decided to get 4 pit passes at the Indy 500 for me and 3 of my buddies instead of general admission for an unproven race.
F1 knows they can jack up the tickets so high and they'll still sell out, and by doing that the hardcore fans can't afford tickets and they go to a celebrity that's just there for the experience. Hotels, tickets, everything is so damn expensive.
At least with nascar anyone can get a ticket most weeks. Maybe make a day trip or stay in a holiday inn one night
Also 4 pit passes to the Indy 500 of all races costing about as much as 3 general admission tickets to Miami (I assume this was) is insane lol

I‘m a european and I love both F1 and NASCAR. Took me a few races to understand it but oval racing is more enjoyable than you think. And I seriously don‘t understand people out there thinking NASCAR is boring, I‘m sure it‘s just thier lack of curiosity and interest to understand it, because even I have the patience to watch a 3 hour NASCAR race fully.

Yep 1 year after this and we just had a race with more lead changes than a whole f1 season and a closer finish than every f1 finish ever. Wild.
I’m not a fan of either. However, after seeing what F1 did to Vegas (completely made the city uninhabitable for the locals and the everyday tourist; the F1 security was more akin to thugs who would threaten/physically intimidate anyone who tried to watch the race for free), I am realizing F1 really catered to European trust fund babies.
F1 seriously turned Vegas into a police state for anyone that wasn’t part of the 1%. The worst part is the hired thugs were fucking rent a cop security, but tried to act like they were police.
I really hope American cities learn from what happened in Vegas.

It’s fine if you personally like one form of Motorsports more than the other. But please don’t be rude and disrespectful!
I am more of a Formula 1 guy, but I like all motorsports. It's very hard to compare the two. They require such a different set of skills and the cars are so different. F1 is very physically demanding to drive through those corners at such high speeds puts an intense amount of stress on the body. Nascar is also very physically demanding, but less about withstanding incredible forces and more about incredible endurance over a long race. Neither is harder or better than the other. It's like comparing basketball and soccer. It turns out some people are better with their hands and some people are better with their feet. Either way you don't show up expecting a fish to climb a tree. I can recall a Monaco Grand Prix winner who came to NASCAR and completely sucked at everything but road courses. I wish we could see how a NASCAR driver may do in the world championship but unfortunately there's an accessibility issue and a nepotism issue in F1. They'd rather let some bum like Mick Schumacher continue to test cars even after he's proven to not be great because bringing sponsors is everything because the car is everything.
