I was just going to say there is such variety in this video it's fantastic, but I couldn't help but notice her absence. Of all the double layout punch fronts, hers was most spectacular.
@dannyradar - The step back is for balance, showing a lack of control on the part of the tumbler. Even if you try and write it off as artistry, fact of the matter is it's just a way to ground that excess momentum. It's careless, and doesn't look as finished as a cleanly stuck landing with both feet together.
I know this happened like three years after you make this video but if you ever redo it you should definitely include aly raismens pass from 2011 (1.5 step out double arabian punch front)
1:58-2:00 is Elena Davydova (1980 Olympics), 3:01-3:03 is He Xuemei (1992 Olympics) and 3:51-3:56 is Elena Shushunova (1987 Europeans). All those moves are banned for women now though
best montage i've ever seen!!!
this is bloody amazing

Great video and music! These just put the biggest smile on my face!

woah thats so cool
Yes, Tatiana Groshkova. She did it from 1989-1991 and then faded off the scene for her inconsistency. Alexis Brion did it as a junior.
....holly...... ive got alot to learn
It is Tatiana Tuzhikova (I have seen many spellings of her surname I don't know if that ones right) at the 1987 worlds
@BruceLeeCobain92 yes they started putting springs into the floor in very late 70s or the beginning of the 80s.
Wow check out Beth Tweddle at 0:32. Her form on the double front is stunning, plus the stuck landing really makes it one of best best passes ever!
3:37 was that a double full in back out??? insane!
It was Martina Jentsch at the 1987 Europeans
the first one + 4.03 - 4.22 give me butterflys in my stomach, GOD of heaven & earth how beautiful you have made mankind (sigh)
Kozich, who is also in this montage, was a pretty freaking talented UKR gymnast also, as was Kvasha.
It was Kim Zmeskal of the USA at the 1991 worlds
Its Veronica Wagner of Sweden
haha where are the nike's and air flares
this is very impressive. World needs more b girls.
@Hasoginy i would definentley be scared to try those stunts.
Titangymnast27, that is Kim un Jong, 2004 olympics fx qual
Great tumbles! I especially liked Alina Kozich's Olga Korbut's (not too hard I know but SO different!) and Beth Tweddle's!
Not as difficult, true- but on a much more unforgiving surface which definitely makes it pretty tough.
This would go GREAT with jlo On The Floor
I know this happened like three years after you make this video but if you ever redo it you should definitely include aly raismens pass from 2011 (1.5 step out double arabian punch front)
I wish I could tumble like that!!!!
4:56 Dobre .is amazing i love her style. She and Raducan are my favorite gymnasts
1:58-2:00 is Elena Davydova (1980 Olympics), 3:01-3:03 is He Xuemei (1992 Olympics) and 3:51-3:56 is Elena Shushunova (1987 Europeans). All those moves are banned for women now though
I saw Lilia Podkopayeva - I hope Ukraine finds another talented gymnast soon!
wow awesome montage (a like from me!)
Who is the girl doing the 3.5 twist at 3:13? Love the montage!
Omg cool
What's the difference, if they do it the same for everybody???
@kdan531 Aleftina Priakhina in 1986 i think. not sure about the spelling.
who at around 3:24 does the punch double pike front? never seen it done in wag
@Gymnast1020 hehe.. maybe a bit late too answer.. but that is Olga Korbut.. the legend hehe
*No more beating my brain, with the liquor and drugs* LOVE IGGY!
Also love all the tumbling.💕
4:03- 4:13 is my favorite
so um, hard enough to tumble one diagonal length, but 2 without a break? wahhhhhh crazy ...
Aren't the moves Thomas saltos?..Why were they banned?..:)))
I LAUGH in the face of gravity!
holy shit
@mostepanovafan what song is this?
well it kind scares me when they do that. they stop looking human and look like on of those abstract art pieces.
it's kim un jong from NK
i hate it when ppl get the music of a vid. the montage is still great but it's just not complete
who is at 2:27? i've been trying to figure it out for so long
3:38 double full in back out!!!!!! that was sick!!!:)
