Absolutely stunning area. A friend from Canada lived there and said it was her most favourite city in the world. That's saying a lot. Perth is on my bucket list.
That was great, I'm having a holiday in Perth in November, stay at the Ibis Styles - Adelaide Street and I am watching to see how far things are from where their hotel is, or looking out for this - like restaurants, shops, public transport etc, so this is good. Thank you.
Hi Sue, I'm not sure exactly where that hotel is but I think it's in Perth CBD. You can check out this video and see if it you find it helpful. Thanks for watching. 🙂 ruclips.net/video/iD1vrkgCKQI/видео.html
I love driving videos as I do driving videos myself. Loved the picture quality which was superb and the route you took. Perth is a beautiful City. It was a relaxing video to watch in tune with the background music. Would love to live in Freemantle. Well done.
We used to live in Ardross and cycle around the Applecross foreshore up to Heathcote and occasionally to the city and back. We now live in Thailand. Watching this video brings back good memories.
I live in Perth and have been to San Diego. I can tell you the weather is almost identical. The vibe is similar but we don’t have the hacienda style architecture which I do like about San Diego.
Hey jv, you are correct.. Perth and San Diego are like un identical twins. Share a lot of similarities. The weather, traffic, lifestyle etc. Our coastline is a bit more flat and sandy beaches though

What we Poms term as 'Bungalows' as all on ground level. Have they all been pulled down and replaced with modern architecture?
Hi Amber, i plan to go back to Applecross to do a more thorough drive of the place if my schedule and the weather permit. I don't think I've seen those 'bungalows' with tin roofs in Applecross. The houses I've seen were so modern and so grand that's why I was so amazed. Will see when I do another round there. 🙂
