Other Information: Filmed from Essendon Station to Leinster Gr/Normanby Ave, Thornbury.
Due to the sale of the operation to Kinetic, some buses are off the road for repairs. This has meant the use of some older, retired vehicles such as #78 which have come back from SouthCoastBus to fill in.
Moreland Bus is being sold to Kinetic Melbourne, and they takeover from first service, 2 October 2023.
Moreland operate routes 510 & 512, and have done for a very long time.
It is one of the last smaller family owned Route service companies in Melbourne. The family will retain the Brunswick depot and will continue to operate School Buses, Charter services and run SouthCoastBus.
Kinetic will take over the contract vehicles, (therefore not including bus #78) and has offered drivers continued employment at North Fitzroy depot, which will be the home base for routes 510 and 512.
It’s been 1 year today since Moreland ran their last Met service before Kinetic took over on the 2nd of October.

@@Nathan-vq9ch The council may have wasted millions of dollars of ratepayers money changing their name, but Moreland Station, Moreland Road and Moreland Bus Lines still live on!
