I remember an interview with the late Jacques Fresco a few years ago. He pointed out (quite correctly) that when you have a "for profit" medical system, then those running the system will strive to make money every way they can...and doctors doling out pills is how they make most of their income. We have no way of ever knowing if we really need the pills they prescribe, or if it's just a case of the doctors who feel they need a new yacht.
This why I Never went to back to a doctor (years ago), when I knew she would have prescribed me, probably a forever drug. I used Valerian Root Tea for a while, which tasted bad, but a little sweetner and cream was better. Just drink it down fast. lol .. 20 minutes later, it was so seamless and was like, "oh I do feel better". Actually I don't go to the doctor for anything, unless it's a job related physical. The dentist either. Just take care of yourself I say.
good on you... worst thing you could do is take any of these medication.. I did and I resent my doctor not telling me, I could never ever get off them.

My urologist talked me into a prostate procedure to help with frequent urination but never mentioned my heart medication causes frequent urination. My pcp recently lectured me on getting the mrna vaccine and said the information on all the side effects was wrong. I have lost confidence in the medical industry.

I didn't feel right the doctor prescribes one medication!!!! Is there any effects from that give us another medication. I quit all medications 10 months ago and lost 38#I kept asking the doctor if I could change my diet or something instead of medications!!!!!!!

SSRI's are the worst medication you could ever take. As someone who has been on them for many years, I tried to go down to a smaller does .. I become depressed, hypersensitive to light and angry. By day two, you become massively depressed, suicidal and you cant even turn your head due to pain.and massive hypersensitive to light and sound... by the third day, you MUST go back to the regular doses because you could not survive it after that. Good thing is, it kicks back in pretty quick once you take. If you discontinue, you'd be jumping off a bridge in a matter of days.
If you are diagnosed with ANYTHING get a 2nd opinion....remember....someone had to FINISH LAST in their CLASS......and you don' t want them to be your doctor.
Second opinons dont matter... most doctors agree. You have to be insane to take any SSRI's .. Ppl need to do research and ask those of us that got roped into taking them before we knew the details of how you would never get off them.
My mother went in with an ulcer and died from an overdose caused by Doctors and nurses for the covid big bucks!!

This was a good documentary, except for the twenty minutes where they went off course and started discussing masking, virtual learning, and gender identity. Those are important subjects, but didn't have much to do with the over prescription of medicine.
