Lullaby of obedience was also used during SPYRAL format(s) as when you popped the opponent's sleeper you summoned without a protection, it would go to their graveyard and board wipe their field.

In your last video you said Lullaby forced your opponent's Nibiru into your hand if you are fire locked by Princess. I got my opponent to give me their maxx C in master duel and they surrendered

Does that even work? Promethean states "YOU cannot summon monsters, except fire monsters.", whereas floodgates like rivalry and gozen state "Each player can only control...". Or do you mean if they have theirs on board?
lullaby states that the person who activated the card special summons the declared monster not the opponent @@TCakes

This is actually such a big brain card to play. Like it seems kinda obvious that it should be good in a T0 format, but clearly no one else thought of it or didn't think it was worth it if they did and it got 3 teams top cut including second place which was arguably robbed by someone cursing on stream a couple times. Love the innovation top players come up with from event to event.

Lullaby always was a underrated card for me because this card gives you so many options. If you are a Goldpride player, you can call a handtrap and have a Lv. 3 tuner for free. THe worst case is that you have a handtrap in your hand and you have less life points to do your special summoning. For Spright it was a way to get a free Lv. 2 monster with Maxx C and with Fenrir being a staple in every deck you got one for free. But denying you opponent a hand trap, extender or starter is huge. I'm really glad more people see the potential in this card and start to use it.
In 2017 a buddy of mine was siding lullaby at locals and I knew he was cause there was a game where he sided it against me and he knew I was playing brilliant fusion so he called garnet and just put it in his hand the next week I knew he would try doing it again so I sided out the whole he was so sad when I told him that 🤣

Rebuttal to the lullaby call ash blossom thing. I don’t think it’s really strange at all, I side out all my ash blossoms going 1st into fire so they can’t hiita take it while they’re trying to clear my board. Also… “fabberglasted”? 😂

You could verify the opponent's deck only if they said they didn't have the card iirc. Lullaby is definitely a "tier 0" staple that won't work as well in any other format.
The interactions with Colossus were amazing. I'll never forget outing an entire ThunDra board thanks to the then-YCS-only Chaos Emperor retrain my opponent had in their deck (since this ignores summoning conditions)

Now, not only you aren't allowed to verify, but unfortunately you can't even call a judge to verify for yourself unless you want to report the opponent is cheating you by faking an "i can't resolve this" situation. And i'm really against this policy because cheaters abuse it a lot.

Yo question. I found this card in my old yugioh deck (circa 2003-4) it's called Gaia Soul the Combustible Collective. It's fire/Pyro (searchable by bonfire) 2000 attack. Gains 1000 for each Pyro you Tribute. Destroys itself on end phase (Can trigger fire kings or raging Phoenix). Do you think this could be run in snake eyes or fire king as potential OTK or more combo? Relatively unknown card and I've been trying to find use for it. But I'm not as good as finding combos as you are. Thoughts?
Not at all, the card is too slow and you lose materials for the key link summons for just 1000 atk. You may be interested however in the snake eye FTK variant which plays Blaze Fenix the Burning Bombardment Bird
If the third is playing off meta, they should look at Mistaken Accusation. I'm playing a bad deck (nouvelles) and it let me turn off flamberge for the rest of the duel

Lullaby of Obedience is insane in this kind of format, I think it actually should have a penalty if you opponent doesn't have the card you declare, like your LP becomes 100, or something like that.
And instantly lose? Not being able to use the effects of the card you stole is more than enough.

siding ash out going 2nd against fire is ok if you dont want your opp to have a hiita line.
It is just seems wrong since... Now they don't have any ash to negate the combo (except they just into the board)

now we got the silly 'naming random outs' out of the way, one of my friends went against floo, used lullaby to declare the dark ruler, because he knew the opponent only plays 1 for thrust.

Just remember this the same guy who said to go all in on hand traps or board breakers don’t mix the two when siding. At at the same time side decks summon limit. sounds fishy to me
Floodgates are neither hand traps nor board breakers. Also everyone in Bo3 sides in a billion floodgates for going first to make it impossible to play after their x-1.
This is still correct since he sides out handtraps for "going first auto wins like Anti Spell/Summon Limit" + crossout (when not mained) when he opts to go first, while he sides in handtraps going up to 22 when he assumes he will go second (siding out things like Crossout, the 2nd Flam etc).
@@MarioLopez-xs3vc ur missing the point. He tells people to not side board breakers on farfas podcast yet he knows he will side floodgates in these same games if he goes first. basically if he recommends everyone sides hand traps and not mix it with breakers they will not be able to beat his floodgates post side
