One interaction that I think its interesting to consider is handtrapping promethean fire princess. I noticed that most of the time, that princess to reborn flamberge in order to spawn IP is like the most powerful play, so preventing them to getting to that is crucial and similar to the ash/oak situation, if you pre-emptive veiler/imperm princess (which you have to do because of kirin, in the FK variant) they have a hard time to extend because either A: they play another princess but need to exhaust resources, or B: they dont play another one, and they wont have enough bodies to remake princess + end on flam/IP or Apo/Arvata, or Sunlight/Heatsoul.
@@ItSpooling_ ogre on princess is not good. you are not preventing her effect from resolving, they no longer fire locked, and it triggers Fire kings/Amblowhale. I highly dont suggest that play in all honesty, but its an honorable mention.
So what’s the verdict on playing Ash Blossom against Snake Eye in general, even though it can give them access to the Hiita line? Do we risk it or do we just run Imperm/Veiler/Gamma and hope they’re enough? I only started playing Yugioh like nine months ago so I am simply not a good enough player to know what the right call is on main deck Ash Blossom this format.
yes absalutely still play it and do not side it out. its way to good as a card and when combined with othar ham traps its just amazing. doesnt matter much if they get to princess + amblowale for the most part most decks should be able to deal with it!
Late to the party but just wanna let you know that meat and potatoes is the best thing about this channel in my opinion. I don't know who else does in depth knowledge at a consistent basis. So I deeply appreciate your effort in these videos. Another thing I like is there's no long intro or skits, like other channels (like why? 💀) , we go straight into it and get lost in da sauce baby. Peace and love.
Keep doing this kinda stuff, all ur other content is okayish, but its either useless competitively or done by a million other yugitubers. This is more unique and helpful to the player base. Thank u sir
If they don't go bonfire first, ash original. Is way more impactful. Also I've opted to nib immediately after flamberge does it's summon 2 from GY effect. But if I see sunlight wolf is that a better time? Not sure
Yeah I thought at first I always wanted to ash the ash but then my friends told me to ash the bonfire instead if I only had ash as that was the better play for reasons you explained.
Unironically if you ash wanted in draw phase and they have snake eyes ash they can just end on 7 disruptions through nib, and if they have Kirin they also play through nib and imperm giving them about 6-7 disruptions not including any handtraps to your 2 cards plus top deck. Yea, you be losing that one.
I often start With at least 2 handtraps. Belle/ash and Imperm. Imperm always on ash, Belle 100 % on Wanted or ash on Wanted if in DP or on Bonfire if this is the First Action
@@Kratos0210 yea so my average hands can play through that and end on 5-7+ disruptions cause my build is just gas plus a couple handtraps. It’s why I 2-0 every pure mirror because them using 2 handtraps does almost nothing.
If they make that play then you force out savage negate with imperm on your turn then you just force out one apo negate then attack into it with diabell then combo off (I play pure snake)
If they are playing Pure and they start with SE Ash and my only HT is Imper/Veiler I'd rather hold it for SE Oak so I cant get punished by Bonfire/Wanted/Witch into Poplar adding Original SS. If they started with Bonfire then yes using it on SE Ash is better but again you can get punished by Wanted/Witch into Poplar.
100%. I really appreciate this “Meat and potatoes “ breakdown
Greatly appreciate choke point guides like this Squiddy!

Nibiru on the spot princess is summoned (barring they not having insulation like arvata/flamberge) also applies to this scenario
Just ogre the princess

@@brittis_n3xus to be fair I play gravekeepers, so with necrovalley on the field, ogre takes cares of her

You're in a good Start just for the simply fact you understand that problem and try to solve it. Keep going man

THANKS A LOT 9000 i appriciate that XD i will make more stuff in depth like this then :3
Great content lately, I appreciate the variety of the videos you’ve been producing. Thanks squiddy
😄😄
Can someone tell me the apo line he talks about that plays around nib?
look up "fire king end board we used for ycs" on my channel
Any tips for playing through/around Nib + imperm going first with SE FK?
try to summon out flamberge early and get kirin back to hand

Commenting to let you know this was extremely useful, and well presented too
thanks alot 😸 will make more like this

if they're giving any clean window wear the flamborge brings back 2 i would definitely nib
Gen 3 music always the best!!! Great vid squiddy

I always wanted in DP because of double droll and droll + imperm
wanted + ash plays through droll + imperm anyways lmao
trick house theme is my jam. good stuff.
Try shifter in the draw phase
a very good video, thank you
"And the band played on"
excellent high level contento👏🏻
really good content!
Make a video on how to beat Runick stun 😂

I always ash Wanted in Draw Phase. It dont Play in Talents and in 50 % of the Time they cant extent much Further. Thats just what I experienced.
@@Kratos0210 mm. Though I personally play a different build with less handtraps and more gas so generally it takes 2 handtraps to stop the deck.

This man really opened up 4 hand traps and Snake-Eye Ash 😂
Thats how it is
i was opening like this all weekend at vegas dispite only winning 5 dice rolls hence why we tawped i guess 😂
@@Squiddys you’re insane!
Dang I going to try ash in main deck again after this video. Lol thank you,
More stuff like this
Use veiler or imperm on promithian princess that way they can’t get back flamberge 😭😭 it’s makes them sad everytime
If you hold your Veiler or imperm that long and they're on pure they can set up Savage and Apollousa all without summoning Promethean
If they make that play then you force out savage negate with imperm on your turn then you just force out one apo negate then attack into it with diabell then combo off (I play pure snake)
What qualifies a Yugioh player as Pro??
u got a point .. 🤔

its not garentee they'll go oak thou 😅 they mite go into linkuriboh and send ash for flamberge and play differently
