I wished they’d given Will a Hypno and ESPECIALLY a Girafarig in this version! Girafarig is the only type of its kind so to have it would have been amazing
the latest update with 9bit indexes starts adding a number of pokemon in, both deleted and new ones, while it's a work in progress (spoiler) Farigiraf and Wyrdeer are already there, which would fit Will's team

Despite the glow up in Designs, they still didnt changed Wills Room from Ice to Psychic OK not gonna lie, I understand what its more interesting to just buff them and make them more challenging, but im a bit dissapointed. Alakazam is so overused, I would have given him just a Girafarig, swaped Slowbro out for King, make him the new Signatur Pokemon, and then find a 6. Pokemon to replace the Xatu. Maybe not as effective as using Alakazam but I feel it would have fit better. Bruno is fine, but I would have liked him having Steelix from the Remakes.
Yeah I sorta agreed on replacing one of his Pokémon for Girafarig since to be honest Girafarig isn’t a bad Gen 2 Pokémon it’s immune to ghost and I think it neutral to fighting (I could be wrong on that since I’m still trying to learn two type matchup)
Yeah I definitely think that bro should swap for king. Both he and Lorelei have slowbro and jynx. Switching bro for king would give him a new gen 2 pokemon to use as well as remove some of the overlap in teams.
What type is the feraligatr? Because high jump was super effective, so was it water/dark Water/ice Water/normal(doubtful) Water/steel Or water rock? Also what type is typhlosion and meganium now?
I have almost 400 hours in this hack and I don't know how to trigger the Giovanni silver scene or what the sunken ss Ann does or had the mystery island outside Fuchsia appear, but I love this johto
The teams for the E4 aren't all that different, which is kinda odd to me. Especially Will, why does he still has mostly Kanto Pokemon & 2 Xatus? Girafarig, Slowking & Espeon are right there
Forgot to add resistance for poisons against fairy and it looks like you didn’t add the physical/special split either. There’s no way Muk can take a +4/SD/Ice punch after a screech lol

I have been playing it and I will say; no. It’s not the same as the new games in that regard That said, depending on your ROM, you can fast forward through leveling easily and get good levels with most Pokémon if you’re patient.

That Muk confused me for a bit but then I realized it's Alolan Muk. That's why Mach Punch did regular damage.
yeah there's a setting in Polished to turn physical special split on/off at the start of the game
