Amazing performance with young highly educated artists by a brilliant singer. Congratulations also to the supporters of Carnatic Music in a foreign town where getting dedicated supporters means more than sticking to the nuances of Classical Music rules.
In the Kacheri paddathi, there is Varna in any Raaga in the first and afterwards the kacheri is going on Vinaayaka Keerthana.And thenthe musician shows his/her efficiency in Carnatic music.But,here our musician-Vidwan Sri.Vigeswar Ishwar took the Varna in the middle of the Kacheri. Although the Vidwan performed well the Raaga Thodi.

(kanjira, by himself not of this state of mind, was getting drawn into it, willy-nilly) these youngsters should listen to doyens like vellore shri ramabhadran, or today's seniors like sri B. Sivaraman - for the sukhamana accompanying that is so needed to be done when the vocalist is rendering the kriti, for that sublime listener pleasure and sowkhyam. these kinds of frenzies betray a restless mind that is also possibly torn by attention-seeking urges. shri Ishwar and the violinist kamalakiran provided capable sangeetham, their talent and distinguished tutelage showing clearly. the concert struggled to get into that 'zone' that top-flight performances so well achieve...
Nice concert. One small observation...lot of tension and frantic movements by violinist and mridangist...are they bit tensed? Violinist keeps on jumping from.his posture and laughs too much...can avoid such dramatic movements. Just my observation...sorry if it's harsh.

No need for the apology; also, the seating of the violinist to the right of the singer makes awkward movemnts forced upon them
