- We have captured two successful litters of Kunekune piglets on camera and have been able to share them with you. It is always an amazing thing to witness and we know you guys enjoy being able to see new life on the farm.
Well it finally happened! We missed the birth of Jellybean's piglets! I went out the feed in the morning and noticed her back end was wet so i knew she had had kunekune piglets during the night. Although it stinks to have missed the birth it was also nice to be able to come out and see that all the piglets were great and these pigs don't need our assistance to have a successful litter!
Follow along today to see how many piglets she had and don't forget to hit that subscribe button to see more piglets in the future!

Can't stop loving little piglets. Like when they start zooming 😅
Oh YES! LOVE seeing the new piggies 😊 Thank you for showing them!
I love hearing the Kunekune moms singing to their babies ❤
Cutie babies. 😂Those pumpkin ball slams are an additional workout.
They are so cute!
Really enjoyed your video today! These piglets are so cute & varied & yes loss of a piglet or other animal is always hard, but if you are gonna go into farming, that's a part of it. I saw a another video of a farm that raised huge pigs & not sure of the breed. The mama went out in the woods & ended up laying on all the piglets, except one & that one rolled down the hill & landed in a creek where it died of exposure. They had a total loss of about 12 from what I remember, but I believe they decided to keep the mama as she had done well with past litters. God bless you & your family.
I am sorry to hear about your losses. New piggies are beautiful
My kunekunes sounds like they're starving when the others are getting something before they do lol...❤
They all act like they haven’t eaten in days😂
So I am expecting these little pigures to fill out pretty good
Nooice 😎 STOC
Did you make an effort to time your litters to all coincide in mid-fall? If so can you talk a little about the advantage in that?
I think most people try for mid-fall and mid-spring from my research. It has to do with slaughter weights/time. It is always best to butcher when it is colder and there are fewer flies/hornets, etc. So breed timing is for butcher timing.
We just put them with boars all at the same time. The sows didn’t come into heat at the same time but these litters we got lucky. Gestation for sows is 3 months 3 weeks and 3 days (116 days) so you just figure out when you want piglets and put pigs together about 4 months in advance.
Hope this helps

Piglets=Bacon seeds. 😆
Whats a waddle?
The tassel that hangs on either side of the Kunekune’s chin, some have one some have two and some don’t have any. American Kunekune Pig Registry came out with a new rule early 2020 that any pigs born without two wattles born after July 1, 2020 would no longer be accepted into the Registry.
I always love seeing the babies they are going to be some nice love bugs as they get older
Found your guys through @Junod acres on RUclips
