Thank you so much for this! I purchased a bottle from a Chinese seller on eBay a few days ago. Received it yesterday and I could tell something wasn't right. The bottom metal plaque looks cheap with scuff marks. The back of the bottle does not have the serial number etched into it. The liquid smells like lemon soap and the smell disappears after 10 minutes. Then I found this video and my suspicions were confirmed. The writing on the back of the box is not centered: it is indented more to the right. The atomiser looks like the fake one in this video. Some aspects make it look real, but there are other aspects that for sure make it look a fake. I guess they have become so good at making these fakes over the years. Obviously i will speak to the seller and seek a full refund Keep up the excellent work! 👍✌

A magnetic cap was standard before the re formulation of Profumo. So, I’m pretty sure that’s the only sign that isn’t a sure bet it’s a fake. I have a pre 2021 bottle 2.5oz from Ulta with a magnetic cap and a 4.2 2022 bottle without it.

I just bought Aqua di gio Profumo today 125 ml. But it doesnt have magnetic cap/lid. It should be pressed to close the lid. Everything looks completely real, the scent is super nice. Bought off a guy on my local Facebook marketplace. All looks legit but only thing I’m suss on is the batch code on bottom of box is printed on box in white writing. Batch code matches a 2022 batch but from what I’ve seen they’re usually imprinted into the box not printed on. Could this still be real?

Everything looks legit for me except for the cap. Mine is magnetic, but it is straight from the inside as the fake one.

Dont U think this one projects not really well as older version. Only 4-5 hours in longevity. But on the clothes almost a week it sticks
