I have a similar stud finder but it doesn't have the electrical detector in it like that that is cool . And as far as sponsorship its how you pay the bills, showing us all the different brands is fine as long as your honest with your assessment.
More to the point, there are a LOT of folks working, after their regular jobs, in the evenings on their hobbies, house renovations, cars, etc, that might not be able to get to the shops during the week's work days. Sometimes you can't find the tool you need, sometimes you break it and need a replacement, sometimes you didn't have it in the first place, or you need something else - shops that are open late, or all night(!), fill those needs.
I was recently at Walmart in CT. and they had Hart 40v. String trimmers for $50! and 40v. chainsaws for $90! I bought three trimmers and two chainsaws! I haven’t used them yet but they are like $200 each.
I have the expensive version of that stud finder. Bought several as gifts. I have yet to miss a stud in 2 years. Yes, it must be flat. And it prefers to be started in a ‘blank’ space if possible.
also my tape measure came with the option of covid free , or included, at no extra cost, lol, no really, their stuff seems ok, and the color scheme is great, it dosen't get lost in the job site clutter
when you built your shelves and your stud finder showed false positive 3 times in a row, you never mentioned which brand it was. we'd like to know what not to buy as well. thank you.
3yrs. I’m sure you guys have come a long way and don’t need my feedback. If you used the tools and tested them before talking about them this would have been so much better. I’m willing to bet you would have been surprised if you tested the limits.
That stud finder is made by Franklin sensors check out the back of the package
Walmart hasn't been open 24 hours for years in my area. And that was before covid
i just got a hart auto lock 16' tape measure, it was $ 4.00, and i like it better than my dewalt, and it still has the numberd fractions

I wish you had the prices and name of the item on the screen while you're describing it.

Hart is made in the same factory as milwaukee by a company named TTI
also my tape measure came with the option of covid free , or included, at no extra cost, lol, no really, their stuff seems ok, and the color scheme is great, it dosen't get lost in the job site clutter
Half the cost of my Franklin Sensor stud finder. How many sensors does the Hart have. The Franklin 710 has 13. #TIACREW
Don't hate people buy the product try it out if you don't like it you can return it I bought it and I actually like a few of their things
very nice! I thought the same company that makes milwaukee makes hart? maybe thats why the case looks similar
nvm i spoke too soon lol
So if you think that (stud) really is a wire cable, what will happen when you drive a screw into it?????
Zap/Fire?
I built a shop too and now there too much crap and I can't even get into it any more too
Snap On, Mac, and Matco have lifetime warranty on bits
also im here to see how the " live wire" detection" works.
