Now this is how a tutorial should go...basic...i like how you ALMOST went on a tangent about some other features but then you remembered the noobs in the room and kept it tight. Alot of these tutorials seem to forget...1...we are not all in theater so we dont know most of the jargon used. 2...we not worried about a hoolywood performance...most new djs do the same thing...we buy a cheap light chinese light from amazon thats almost ALWAYS HAS NO PROFILE. It can be fustrating just to get that FIRST light lit up. I feel like if i can make ONE light work i can do the rest.....its just the FIRST LIGHT...LOL Thanks for keeping it clean cut and starightforward. Easy to follow along.

I followed these instructions for creating a fixture and I added the fixture and turned up the brightness but no light come on when I turn up a color...
Brilliant Lee. Thank you so much. I am having big issues with creating custom fixture profiles for freestyler and I have been trying for a few weeks now. I am having trouble with "getting the fixtures on". I get them all connected ok So I am trying to attach a HQ Power HQLB10002 UV LED Bar and there is even a one ch dmx mode and I cant get it working even with that bar. So frustrted.
Hello Can you help me; does Freestyler have option for mirroring moving head? For example l have two moving head and l want to do when left fixture/moving head goes move in right direction,right fixture/moving head goes in left direction? Or l must programming them separatley? Thx
There is a better way to select colors then using the RGB to the right. Go to window and select all windows. When your RGB lights are selected, a window will show up with a color pallet!
@@prOkrEAt Did you go to the top menu bar. You click the window button. There is a list of windows that you can have show up. You need to select them all. Then when you a RGB fixture selected, it should show up on the screen. I hope this helps. You could also redownload and install it if you are still having issues.

Now it has been a couple years from last time I used the program. But I know that I was able to get that window up.
@@focused353 I was having issue because first page didn't define color channels. I had to dumb down my tristrip lights from 14c to 8c to make a single RGB bank instead of 3x RGB. But after setting up lights, can't figure how to make a master control on main screen that's easy to set lights and change on fly. I don't think this software will do what I need. I don't need complex, just simple color controls.

I can't get anything but side slider to pop out. No color window or any of those windows come up. Part of me thinks it didn't install correctly
