Drake and josh. I feel lucky that as a child i was able to enjoy such amazingness. I cant believe todays "hit" t.v shows consist of "dog with a blog" and "sam and cat" (which in no way can compare to the amazing t.v shows aired when i was growing up)
+Kidawesome55 Today's tv shows have laugh tracks that happen every 2 seconds while old shows like Drake and Josh only used them when actually necessary.
I always thought this show was hilarious, but this episode made me respect the show, Drake Bell and Josh Peck in particular. This is just such a heartfelt and raucously fun tribute to one of the best movies of all time. Props to those two for doing it justice.
I remember this.. so many memories, so many sides hurting from laughing my ass off!!!!! These guys were the real non-animated children's show of their time.
i used to watch drake and josh as a kid ... this show was partly what inspired me to learn guitar. and now watching this clip again 10 years later after developing a passion for the blues, i realise how fucking awesome this program was for me as a child .... drake and josh was just soo cool! there's no denying it ... :P
I love it how the kid on lead guitar is making poses like he's playing some kick ass solo, while he's actually playing 2 notes on a single string :P Oh, and the chick they don't know... That's taken straight from the blues brothers movie if people didn't catch that reference :)
winnetouch Really? Oh my God. I've seen the movie so many times and this episode was one of my favorites, and I can't believe I never got that reference!
AH yeah my real childhood. The early to mid 2000s when RUclips was just born and Facebook never existed. The internet wasn't even common in households then. How I miss those days of television.
My brother/my Elwood used to watch this show and I happened to see this scene and thought it was awesome they were doing Blues Brothers, that's when I realised he had never seen the movie before, I had to fix that immediatley and suddenly years worth of references and homages to the film made sense to him.
Josh isn't actually a drug addict. He's extremely health-conscious and went on a diet to set a good example for his fans. Both are still active in music and television today.
How Drake's band grew from a 4-piece guitar, bass, drums, vocals group to a massive blues group with brass instruments and the lot! In such a short space that they changed the song, still amazes me today :L
Lol apparently Josh can do backflips and the splits but can barely get off of the ground at 3:16. But I do love how I can only think of this show now when this song comes on.
Drake and Josh are blue brothers to sing their stages, and because Josh can sings it. They are soul man. Josh is dance partners, and because he could flips, jumps, and hops. Drake's songs is goods, and because he was great singers to have to his dances.
Drake & Josh was the best Nickelodeon show EVER
yes!!!!
Of all time.
yeh
1 drake and josh
2 Icarly
3 Victorious

irisxxxxxx Pete & Pete was the best, I will fight you in the street over this.
Best childhood ever! This is why I loved this show. Not some of the crap we have now.
There was shows back then that were really shitty, don't base it off nostalgia
NarwhalNukeYT | NUKE yeah there was and i can admit that but there was more good than bad shws/
NarwhalNukeYT | NUKE Apart from the ones i like, I'm blanking on the bad shows that were on, I'm really very curious, what were some of the bad shows?
This is a better sequel than Blues Brothers 2000.
Hell yeah haha

Ty bro I feel the same way cause today's tv shows just don't make sense.

I remember this.. so many memories, so many sides hurting from laughing my ass off!!!!! These guys were the real non-animated children's show of their time.
Season 2 was the best of Drake & Josh in my opinion.
Josh's acting really made it much more funny! I really miss this show.
One of the best episodes. If not, the best.
Quite possibly one of the best tv shows of my childhood, I remember my dad went crazy when I was watching this because he loves the blues brothers.
this was literally my favourite Nickelodeon moment
Because of these guys, I was introduced to one of my favorite movies, bands, and styles of music; and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Then check out Drake Bell's new rockabilly album "Ready Steady Go" it's really awesome rock n roll
Same, because of this show i was introduced to the blues brothers
back when nick had good sitcoms, man i miss this and neds declassified. also love that they sing a song from an r rated movie on a g-rated show

AH yeah my real childhood. The early to mid 2000s when RUclips was just born and Facebook never existed. The internet wasn't even common in households then. How I miss those days of television.
Facebook was made before RUclips...
RandomIdiot105 It might as well have not existed back then.
If you had your formative years in the late 90s and early 2000s, then you'd know Myspace was the shit until around 2008.
+The Tusken Gentleman its still pretty crappy
the blues brothers act by d and j was one of the reasons why i love this show. it's also one of the reasons why i love the blues brothers.

And with that, Josh's twitching days were a thing of the past.
