That always kind of irritated me. the helmets are equipped with a life support device, and the helmet itself is pressurized, so it shouldn't have just flown off because reasons. literally Boost and Sinker survived in Space with Standard Phase 1 helmets, but a pilot who is exposed and literally flies a starfighter, in space, will just loose his helmet. Nah that's bullshit, Filoni just wanted a spicy clone death cause he gets off to spicy clone deaths.

Getting cut in half by a blast door, beheaded by a wall panel thrown like a killer Frisbee by a former Sith Lord/beheaded by a lightsaber, eaten alive by an Umbaran Sarlacc creature or giant worm, and/or slowly strangled to death Vader-style by Force Choke all seem like pretty horrendous ways to go. I think just being a clone trooper in general pretty much sucked.
Some Clone pilot survive which I’m glad. The last one is Goji [1:00] who’s responsible for countless civilians in Coruscant, I think he watch Godzilla too much (which is why Goji armor is reference to Godzilla)

Better strategy I think would be to fire salvos of buzz droid missiles at the capital ships and let them go at it. Unless the republic got them all in the first few minutes, the little buggers could hide away in the vast structure and could cause untold damage weeks after they arrived
Because this use to be the actual phase 2 pilot-uniform. It was later cjanged in TCW to a more scouttrooper-like design. I heared this had something to do with buged and face-animations, which I personally doubt.
