very very interesting description of yamunotri yatra abandoned.. ..at least you could discover the route and the transportation modes... probably you did not plan the journey and did not start your days very early...I learnt a few things from your description : how it feels to be locked up for hours among an unfamiliar crowd in a difficult hilly terrain and sneezing on horses's tails in cold...and liked the vlog. How to reach Uttarkashi 1. Bus from Parade Ground 2. Shared taxi from parade ground 3. Bus/car from Rishikesh is frequent 4.taxi stand somewhere near Ghanta ghar dehradun, near Petrol pump.
I m planning to chardham from dehradun on 13th October. Please suggest some good shop where I can hire a car for 13days (with mobile no). And also hotel near to dehradun railway station. It's very urgent. Thanks.
