Cost of living in America is high right now. One bedroom apartment $1800 month metrocard $127 light and gas depending on how you use it a month. Food expensive now
I tell it's just ridiculous how hard it is right now especially here in Jamaica...we soon can't afford basic amenities, not to mention food..its just depressing to think about most times...😔
Paul, you know I was just talking about this last weekend. Especially, the chicken for real. I was just there in June 2021. Everything is high here in the US as well.

@Superholywomen Well done. 💪 I just stated above, that people should start growing their own food from seeds bought in market etc. Yes you are right including your herbs. You know you can grow your own rice? RUclips shows you how. As soon as I get my wages, it flies out the door! This is a worldwide problem. The Bible says shrewd is the one that sees the calmity and conceals himself! So people are starting to feel the pinch hard! Growing your own food is a good solution.
The cost of living has gone up in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 as well. What my family do is keep our old bills for our next list making. We record the item and it's price next to it so that in our next shopping we'll have a better idea how much exactly the prices raised by and where is the best option. We also do calculations for the quantity eg.is it cheaper to buy the 100gram vs the 300gram when you calculate the cost per gram. It's a lot of work but you can save money with it..every dollar adds up
So true paul just have to ask God to help us as he always does chicken is for $330 per lb we soon cant buy meat but God always provide for his children have a bless day
Paul, I can Identify with what you are saying...The cost of living is extremely high here in Barbados. And we experience the same thing with respect to the supermarkets...you have to be very selective as to where you do your 'big shopping' as some of them are very pricy. God said he will take care us so we have to continue to believe that no matter how high they take the prices we will not be in lack.
Paul I know. We are feeling the squeeze here in St Kitts / Nevis too. Our gas for the car is now EC$15+ per gal. It would have been nice if u had flash the US conversion so ur International subscribers could do a quick conversion but I agree with every word u said. Just today on my drive from work I was thinking to myself if my social security payment will be able to maintain me when I'm at that stage of life. I trust God
Talk truth Paul!! I have begun to bake my own bread and buy my chicken straight from the small farmer. It's no joke. I have to make a list, check it twice and take off what I can do without. Blessings to the neighborhood.
So true about the car has and stove has. A 100lb cylinder used to serve my family for up to 7 months now it's about 3 months. It's really hard to manage!
Paul let me tell you my friend I was away for couple years, returned to Jamaica in December 2021 Paul ..I literally hold my head everytime I asked what's the cost for goods..no man it's crazy crazy crazy.. but as you said God is always providing.. I'm blessed beyond measures...lol...but yea we just have to trust God and live my brother.. when I go to the cashier I ask to cash and check (total amount) if I can't go up to everything I say ok I'll put back these ok..mi nuh fraid to put back.. who want to look..look lol 😆
People everywhere are feeling the pinch Paul... Cost of living has increased. You pick up a few items and when the cashier tallies the bill you are like "what did I buy for so much money?" My weekly grocery shopping habit has now changed to buy what you need 🙃 Everything you said is true...To fill my tank I pay between $60+ to $70+ CND...Boi... it sticky...When I was in Jamaica I used to go to a wholesale to buy bulk items such as flour, rice sugar and canned foods, then a meat shop to buy meat.
I just wrote a comment about Jamaica and the IMF on your vlog when you went to the supermarket and spent 29k! Check out that comment. I remember when patty was 50 cents!! Then 75 cents in the 70s! We invite you all Dears for a good hungarian lunch 😊 But from today early morning we have to pray for Europe's peace🙏, because not the inflation is the biggest problem. Russia's military offensive at dawn against Ukraine, our neighbor 😥.
Paul, it's true, I just came back from jamaica, went to the supermarket and picked up a few things and it was 21 thousand and change, I was thinking about the person who is working only five thousand dollars, it's hard
Good morning my dear family blessings and love. Paul I've been saying it for a while, I'm really sorry for parents with young children. Lord help us here in England because everything went up 3-4 times the cost. We need to pray for financial breakthrough and to help each other. Have a great day and keep safe. Shalom 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hi Tina and Paul I am a neighbour subscriber, as Yvette, but my phone crash with all my me and my house info and my messages and email page, they just won't let me charge up that phone, as we can see the world is really getting ready for the anti-christ reign, and I still have a parcel box to get to you, had to bring the items to Barbados with me and parcel them up here, as my trip was BLESSED so quickly, I just did not have the time to post them down from England, and I wish for the children to receive them before they out grown them, ( but I have brought them big sizes ) still they should have received them time gone, but I Don't know how as I am just using a borr's from this phone. But I will try and see if I can email you all again and get the postage details
Hi Paul it's happening every where I remember in the United States at one time I was able to spend $60at super market and bring home everything not any more that can't even buy one night dinner any more so we are all feeling the pinch
We all have to go start home gardens because its getting pricey everywhere. Ironically, I just came back from supermarket and wondering where the money went and I'm in the US
Yes we're having the same problems here with prices bread that use to be $1 and change is now between $5 and $7 depending on the brand.Gas is also ridiculous it went from $1 plus to almost $4 per gallons now to talk about grocery the position is cut down and the price is way up ..I have a lot of respect for you guys in Jamaica because nothing starts at $10 or $20 for you it's $10000 and more....it's a global thing and yes we're feeling it here in the United States too and it gets worse depending on the state you are....I'm also very frustrated too..
Come live in StLucia bread is really cheap here, you know while some of us are complaining about the rising cost of food around the world we give God thanks for providing for you and your family, praise his name, in all things give thanks, our bread and water is sure,
Paul..they just announced on the Canadian news that inflation has not been this high since 1991...not salary increase and I can definitely see in my grocery bill
Oh my goodness YES... Cost of living, food, gas, etc... Definitely feeling the effects. But absolutely it's only by God's grace that we get through it each and everyday. God bless y'all. It's gonna be alright.,🤗 🙏🏽💜
I know exactly what you're talking about. I can very relate! I am a Jamaican retired civil servant, and receiving a pension there. I have my home in Jamaica, and I love my country dearly. But, unfortunately, I have been spending more time away from home (in the USA), than at home. Why? Because of the cost of living in Jamaica. Simply put, I can't feed myself there. That's the harsh reality! So sad!! Big up de neighbourhood! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Paul, you're not the only one experiencing the rise in costs. It's ridiculous. Don't mention the gas/ water they putting in the car at the gas stations that burns out as yuh go down the road...
Morning Neighbours, Greetings to you all. Cost of living has gone up here in the 🇬🇧. Minimum wage is less than £10 an hour here. Petrol and diesel is nearly £1.50 a litre. Not gallon. Gas and electricity is sky high and is going up by nearly 50% soon. And again in Oct. People are having to decide do I heat the house or by food. It's bad. The grass is not always greener on the other side. The cheaper supermarkets are carrying the swing. (Aldi and Lidl) I feel your pain. We are going through the same thing here. You have to turn your hand and make fashion. Use less meat and more vegetable to bulk up your food. And start growing your own vegetables. Lettuce, tomatoes, callaloo, potatoes, beans, garlic, onion, pumpkin. I do it here in cold UK. Every little bit helps.
Hey Paul. Everything that you said is true. The cost of living, no matter where you live has gone up. As for gas, jeez... it worse! I have to be looking for gas station that lower their prices of others just to try to get half a tank. At the price of gas right now, I have to spend more. Plus a little gas in the car does finish so fast. Most of the time, when driving I have to keep my eyes on the gas meter.
Is not u alone Paul, everything is high everywhere. I live in us and going to the supermarket is like a nightmare. This week is one price and the other week is the next price. Some of the items that the supermarket has on sale are things I do not buy.
Everything you say about food and gas is very true. $4,500 use to top up my car. Now when i put $4000 gas in my car it just go a liittle above half tank. The food thing is getting really bad. How are we going to manage. But lets put God in the midst of it all. But he did tell me there will be a food crisis last year. It is happening now.
Only the mere necessities in these times. Everything is sky high, I really don't know how people are managing in these times. Everything is increasing and the pay remains the same
Hello neighbour! The situation is likewise for me. Everything has significantly increased over the few years since I have been working. The dollar weak bad!
When you buy scotch bonnet at market save the seeds and grow your own, including red peas, string beans, pepper anything with seeds save and grow including sweetcorn and tomotoe. Things soon get worse world wide when it comes to food, even 1st world countries are starting to notice. If you have family in foreign ask them to send you carrot seeds, cabbage seeds, brocolli, icedberg lettuce seeds etc to grow You can even save some rice grains and grow your own rice! Look up RUclips how to grow rice.
Oh yes Paul! I realized by God's grace when I kept hearing that it's expensive to have many children that for the believer, it takes faith - not mere money .
Hi me and mi house family how is everyone God bless you all. Paul isn't you alone am looking on prices from last year November i was paying from last year in some supermarket flour lone hundred dollars and lots of other items I don't eat pattie for some time but in my perish one pattie cost 250 or 260 .chicken 290 or 300 $ so high prices one bread 440.$.am praying by the grace of God. To keep my family. God bless you.
Absolutely God will always take care of His own 🙏🏽 By the way, how come gas prices are different in different areas? Shouldn't it be a fixed price country-wide?
Each location and company prices the fuel differently. It may be cost to transport the fuel to their location and other expenses that determine what’s an appropriate mark-up 🤷♂️
Chicken price in Canada is too high I remember when I use to get a tray of Chicken that has 10 pieces for 8 or 9 dollars that was 3 years ago now it is 18 dollars that is too much everything is going up but like you said Paul God will provide that is what I hold on to. May God bless you and your family always ❤
Hi Neighbours 🤗 I hear you Paul. Can you imagine you can't fill your gas tank anymore?...Lord help us all no matter where we are. Our shopping list is very strict, no unnecessary items for now 🙏🏽 God will provide for sure 🙏🏽
My mom goes to the US ever Christmas time to send down barrels and she has said the money she would normally spend to pack more than one barrel is not enough to do so now.
Paul it is ridiculous how the price of everything is going up. If you spend $15,000 this week when you go back in 2 weeks and pick up the same items it's over $20,000. Don't even mention the gas, sometimes I park my car and take a taxi because I simply can't afford it anymore
$220.00 now Paul. I don't really buy Cheese patty (sinus watcher). Yes Paul, it bad. I was wondering when u were gonna touch on gas. It nuh normal at all. I want to go to a work from home arrangement. I can't manage. A nuh u alone, the gas a finish quick fi true.
The prices are indeed terrible. Currently I don't even know where to shop to avoid high prices. My husband also has the don't buy gas in Kingston rule. We stick to the Portmore Texaco for our trusted 90. Based on my profession I watch costs so I always use to compare at the supermarket. I don't like the fact that many prices aren't shown and I have seen the $15-100 or more being added in short intervals. With the war in Europe the gas prices especially will get higher. Thanks be to God for our faith and hope in Christ because this world is not easy to live in for many reasons.
Paul it rough bad because my pocket burning mi as we speak. Jamaica is not a real place. I'm a teacher and my salary is ridiculous. It only carries my family for one week. Grace of God
Cost of items has increased here in the UK, items such as UHT milk prices varies from £0 80 pence to £1.00 per litre. I was in a supermarket made enquiries re price of milk when I heard the price I told the man to put it back.lol.
220$ for beef patty Paul at Juci beef... what I do my ordinary bread at home is what I use with my patty as my patty and cocobread If I do feel for that ... one loaf of weekender bread at the baker I go (directly at the bakery where it is cheaper) 550$ tell me now how can an ordinary Jamaican family survive on 9000$ minimum wage. Then remember most of us are still trying to build ourselves a comfortable home and it's not yet completed and look at the price for building materials plus workmen money.... Some paying rent ... But what about those who not even own the land yet muchless to start ... And bills have to still pay ... Only God can help us and there's no price control on anything "everybody" just have them own price people have to be shopping around to see how best they can stay within a certain budget..... SIGH SIGH SIGH SIGH SIGH
10,000 dollars blow out and u wonder what did u buy.....if u not careful u could easily use 1000 dollars a day for lunch . So carrying ur lunch becomes a must. Is not only Jamaica ..it is worldwide....is just that our dollar have no value so we feel it more
I would like to know which supermarket that Paul because everywhere I go prices high. Just give me a call when the mangoes 🥭 them start ripe good I will sit upder the tree and wait, that's how much I love mangoes 😆 🤣
Wow wow Paul! bread price have me holding my head. Not sure y I love bread the way I do..anyways surely not living by the hado bread alone but Gods word too. 😆. Sure ting God provides all the time every time. We just gotta share the blessings too all the time every time.
So, I am in the US...Georgia to be exact. The cost of living is high here too. Luckily I have a job that allows me to work from home. I have 3 sons...1 who works full time, 1 who is in college, and 1 who is in high school. Their dad is "supposed" to pay child support for the youngest but he doesn't. So I provide the majority of the support for my youngest and I help out the one in college. I am blessed that my oldest son helps me out with them too. Anyway, my job pays me well but after I pay bills and do for my kids I am BROKE!! I have a question for you, I'm not gonna say the company I work for but they also have a call center in Jamaica. In the US we work from home but there its in the call center. I have always been curious if the workers there make the same as what we make in the US? Anyway, yeah..its hard now and its getting worse. Here, putting gas in my car it used to cost $30 to fill it up but now its $50 or a little more depending on how much I need. The gas prices are going up here too. Bless you and your family. You are right...God will always provide or allow a path for you to be able to provide. You just have to believe.

Use less meat and more vegetable to bulk up your food. And start growing your own vegetables. Lettuce, tomatoes, callaloo, potatoes, beans, garlic, onion, pumpkin. I do it here in cold UK. Every little bit helps.
Thanks Jay 🙏
Happy Tuesday to my lovely families 👪 💕 ❤️, me and mi house 🏠.. have a bless day 🙏🏿
I do the same thing. I keep driving and watching the gas bars to see if any falls off 😅🤣
@@MeandMiHouse 🤣🤣.
Is not u alone Paul, everything is high everywhere. I live in us and going to the supermarket is like a nightmare. This week is one price and the other week is the next price. Some of the items that the supermarket has on sale are things I do not buy.
Buy bulk if you can; look out for specials. Definitely shop around and compare prices.
That's true. I am experiencing the same with the gas.
Only the mere necessities in these times. Everything is sky high, I really don't know how people are managing in these times. Everything is increasing and the pay remains the same
Hello neighbour! The situation is likewise for me. Everything has significantly increased over the few years since I have been working. The dollar weak bad!
The dollar need to go the gym!
@@MeandMiHouse lol
Every time I go to the grocery store I'm upset, not to mention the gas station! Ridiculous! 😠
When you buy scotch bonnet at market save the seeds and grow your own, including red peas, string beans, pepper anything with seeds save and grow including sweetcorn and tomotoe. Things soon get worse world wide when it comes to food, even 1st world countries are starting to notice.
If you have family in foreign ask them to send you carrot seeds, cabbage seeds, brocolli, icedberg lettuce seeds etc to grow
You can even save some rice grains and grow your own rice! Look up RUclips how to grow rice.
You are not alone , I experience all a those too, may God help us in this country, JA.
Anyway God is still providing for us
Hush neighbor we having the same issue here in Canada ♥️💡👏
Oh yes Paul! I realized by God's grace when I kept hearing that it's expensive to have many children that for the believer, it takes faith - not mere money .
Cost of living here is the same in the US. I do not go to the supermarket without a list and I tend to go to the store that have BOGOs.
BOGOs, that’s a smart strategy. Thanks Kevin 🙏
Awwwe, the younger twins are soooo pleasant. 🤗. Love them
Everything you said is Facts Bro 👏🏽💯
Hi me and mi house family how is everyone God bless you all. Paul isn't you alone am looking on prices from last year November i was paying from last year in some supermarket flour lone hundred dollars and lots of other items I don't eat pattie for some time but in my perish one pattie cost 250 or 260 .chicken 290 or 300 $ so high prices one bread 440.$.am praying by the grace of God. To keep my family. God bless you.
Prices on food and gasoline in the USA also!
Cost of living every where is expensive, now a days you can't see what you buy for the money high high, high
🙏🙏
I.felt my mouth watering at the sight of the mangoes. Yes, you're teasing us.
😅
Hi Neighbours 🤗 I hear you Paul. Can you imagine you can't fill your gas tank anymore?...Lord help us all no matter where we are. Our shopping list is very strict, no unnecessary items for now 🙏🏽 God will provide for sure 🙏🏽
Oh lawks. My favorite restaurant cost of my meal was $850. The next visit it went all the way up to $1200
Wooow that's a big jump!
I truly know what you mean about the cost of living, it’s way too high how can we live. I am in Canada and we are feeling the same thing.
My mom goes to the US ever Christmas time to send down barrels and she has said the money she would normally spend to pack more than one barrel is not enough to do so now.
Hi neighbor, I think this is the first time I am commenting 😊, the cost of living has gone up all over...some people can only eat once a day now!!!!!!
Nice to hear from you Ivy 😬…the cost of living is really gone through the roof now
Paul, I shop just like you
Cheapest supermarket/wholesale/shop.
Anything not on the list not going in the trolly!
“Anything not in the list not going in the trolley”…oh yes
Paul it is ridiculous how the price of everything is going up. If you spend $15,000 this week when you go back in 2 weeks and pick up the same items it's over $20,000. Don't even mention the gas, sometimes I park my car and take a taxi because I simply can't afford it anymore
Oh boy. When I go to the supermarket sometimes I wonder how the money so nuff but the bags that I bring out so likkle bit
Hi my favorite family how u all doing 🙏🙏
Grace of God 🙌
Paul masa pressure cooker is exploding LOL all we have to do is pray 🙏 price is really up I am in st Andrew Kingston
🙏
Cost of items has increased here in the UK, items such as UHT milk prices varies from £0 80 pence to £1.00 per litre. I was in a supermarket made enquiries re price of milk when I heard the price I told the man to put it back.lol.
Lol 😂
Bless the Lord that He takes care of us
🙌
Amen😇
Yes, i want to know where's the best place to shop (gas or supermarket)
Really Paul..not teasing 😋 lol...the last few vlogs, you were under the mango 🥭 tree 🌳...please ship some to Canada 🇨🇦 🙏🏿
I’m going to export some to you 🤣
I am from St.kitts and cost of living is sky high. That's what Covid-19 bring to us
It’s all over Carlene!
Cost of living in Cayman is really high as well
Me and me house 🏡 our children growing nicely God bless uncle Paul u most go market and buy don't buy plantation in supermaket
Is not only Jamaica ..it is worldwide....is just that our dollar have no value so we feel it more
Since covid 19 everything is sky high, here in USA the dollars store is now 1.25
same here is St. Maarten
The cost of Living is High ....I thought is here in Kenya only ...!!! The righteous shall live by Faith
I would like to know which supermarket that Paul because everywhere I go prices high. Just give me a call when the mangoes 🥭 them start ripe good I will sit upder the tree and wait, that's how much I love mangoes 😆 🤣
🤣 I don’t like when the mangoes get stuck between my teeth tho🦷
Hi Kelli! God will always make a way. It’s important to trust Him 🙌
@@MeandMiHouse thank you for responding and yes, you are right! It is important to trust God and believe in him because he will always allow a way to provide!
It's the same here in New York.
Everything Is Sky High - food, clothes, shoes, bag, motor vehicles, land and house etc.
