Right then guys, summers nearly here,so it's time to show you guys what gear I will be using throughout the summer. All my gear will be inside my new awesome montane Trailblazer 44 litre backpack.well happy with this new pack, can't recommend it enough. Possessed Duck making it's way in to your bag!! Fu~k that i'd be off. Looking at the way the weathers going this year you may get to use the summer pack for a week or two lol. Nice work Dai.
Hi mate, thanks buddy, let's hope this weather improves much more for the summer. It has done my head in. Last thing we needed after lock down. Yeah the duck ha ha. Catch you soon
The brits learn a lot from the Americans when it comes to lightweight gear. But it can be damn expensive. Cost me nothing to chop my toothbrush in half though lol. Thanks for watching Tim. I need to have a catch up with your channel. Your banging them out fast 👍
Great work...need to get me some down trousers. I like my green ice flame, but I also want to try out my Snugpak Special Forces when I can (and the hip is sorted). Kevin.
Glad to hear it's improving well Kevin. Fab news 👌think I would have preferred the green. Do you use the straps? Down trousers are a must for them cold evenings chilling. Catch you soon buddy
Thank you so much for the shout out Dai and I’m so glad you’re happy with the insulated pouch! Cannot believe how much stuff you can fit in that little rucksack and keep it so light, amazing!! Great vid Dai, thanks for sharing 😃
Hi Kate, I love the insulated Pouch that I've bought 2 now lol. I've been working on my pack for the summer for a while. It's lightweight without compromising comfort. Thanks for watching again. Atb dai
@@Camp-N-Wilddragon haha that’s it now is it, Kate forever more 😂 Pack looks great, my wild camping gear sits about 15/16kg including food and water etc, think I have some work to do lol!! X

Yeah it's pretty crazy, I've been working on that pack for a while ready for summer. I'm really happy with it and I didn't have to compromise comfort. I'm glad this video has helped. Hope you don't spend a fortune though lol. Thanks for watching. Atb dai
I enjoyed this. I find him pretty funny, nice insight and that's a great setup! Also I have just got the Trailblazer 44 and I love it but I was frustrated by not being able to fit any water bottles into the bottle pockets on the side. But I didn't realise you could fit a 1L smart water bottle in the small strap pockets, that's a great solution! This saves the pack for me thank you, I was thinking about sending it back just cos there was nowhere to put my frigging water. I don't know why they didn't just put some elastic around the top of the bottle pockets though, like they did with the big mesh front pocket.
Hi thanks for watching. Yeah I know exactly what you mean. They could have designed the side pockets a little better. Glad you like the strap pocket idea. Seems to work well. It is a good pack. I love mine. Thanks for your comment and hope you enjoy it
Nice pack that mate but I think the pockets on the shoulder straps would bug me other than that it look nice and light weight perfect for the hills 👍👍 atb karl
Nice one Dai! Blimey 9 kg, that's light, I struggle to keep my pack at 20kg but that's with beers too. Think i'll have to upgrade to some lighter gear. Atb Daz 😁👍🏻🏕

Fantastic video, thank you for the products links. I'm very undecided about buying the Naturehike Mongar 2 and the Cloud Peak 2, I saw that you have both. I'll use mostly on summer and wind mountains at winter. I Know that both are not 4 season because of the mesh but 3+ season will work for me. Most of the time I will share the tent weight with my partner, but sometimes I'm alone like you. Is Peak really tougher than Mongar? I really like the 2 big vestibules of the Peak and the lower weight of Mongar. Wich one do you recommend?
Hi,thanks for watching my video, I'm glad it has helped.i would definitely go for the cloud peak 2.mesh is at the top so it will be much warmer and less draft and still great ventilation to stop condensation.I would only use the mongar in summer time.
