This script sure made the rounds back in The Golden Age Of Radio. It also was preformed on X Minus One, Escape and Suspense. I also think this episode was the pilot for DimensionX in the first place. This recording is in good shape.
Do you know the voice actor for the character Hank in this episode? He played in a lot of the episodes for Dimension x and x - 1. I love his work but I never could figure his name?
Man this was one hell of a better show then the crap of today. Old time radio beats the snot out of most the politically correct matter found in the bottom of a chamber pot.
Amazing that recording of this broadcast survived until now. Kudos to the archive holder.
Glad that people found the time to take these shows and preserve them.
Originally broadcast on April 8, 1950, when the series appeared on Saturday nights at 8pm(et).
Didn't X - 1 follow up from the series after it was canceled?

Yeah I believe this production was better than all the rest to follow.

I can imagine children listening to this in bed with their covers over their heads... lol.
Then ran to their parents room to sleep.

Lots of great content that we will keep posting. Thanks!
Wonderful!
So that's where The Outer Limits got its name.
Seems like something that is new is always something from the past if you look for it.
I just hate it when I listen to an episode all the way through, and then the story ends without an ending.
This was in the 1960s, not the 1950s.
Thansk will correct the date.
