"those guys need drum lessons" just shows that no matter where you are or what's going on, if you're a musician, you're always paying attention to what people are playing
Well Tipper Gore is Al Gore’s Husband and he ran against Republican candidate George W. Bush, and we all know what Tipper Gore did in the 80s, so I’d imagine a lot of 80s rockers were more conservative
That's true. Metallica writes sellers. But I will always choose Dave over Hetfield, because Dave's music isn't just about the devil and evil. It's about political outbreak and so on. There's meaning.
@@DaveOJAlso, even though most of Metallica's songs aren't political, most of them deal with real issues like drug abuse, alcoholism, trauma, depression, and mostly about James' complicated relationship with his parents.
In response to when this was, I believe it was '92 when clinton ran with gore because they were asking the question what can gore bring to the ticket. Also Countdown to Extinction was released in '92 and some of the songs off that album were played in the background.
He helped cover the MTV NEWS (Political Segments) He also went to Harvard for a little while, before he was in Metallica. He's an informed & intelligent guy.
Being conservative or liberal is a social view and, although it has a lot to do with politics in general, it has nothing to do with politicians. So a person can hate politicians and still be a conservative or liberal.
Hey Was Chrisst Illision produced by rick? don't think so... But I am holding my hopes high for the album, but since Rob said the album is going to be ''groovy'' I'm changing of thoughts
Great clip..he did a really good job with the choose or lose stuff back in the day..too bad he feels kinda differently about it now considering as he said the whole democratic thing took awhile to "wash off"...but he did a lot of good for motivating voters....on a lighter note..dig those 90's hair don'ts! eegad!
it's a bit strange for me to see mustaine doing a show on MTV because in one of his interwievs he had a strong attitude against MTV and it's comercial side.
@RictaWave It makes more sense that the universe has always been opposed to God. Examination of just about everything in the universe reveals that things naturally become more complex over time. Where in the equation does a being more complex than the Universe itself coming before the universe make sense?
How about we do both? I think that sounds nice. I mean, my income tax is already 20%, but if you could make the money spent more efficiently, then I certainly wouldn't mind paying more to get amazing quality of life.
That's exactly what I am saying. I love Metallica's early stuff, but alot of Metallica fans choose not to listen to Megadeth because they are being stubborn.
Just because Metallica has songs wich contains "different parts" like One, does not mean that they are more complex. Listen to Megadeths album Rust in peace, an album wich was complez and enough technical to be compared to PROG METAL at it's time, and is known to be alot more complex than any of Metallicas works.
With Dave, I found politics fun.
He should do it more.

Absolutely because of political correctness
"Is this fashion in Ohio?" Dave is fucking hillarious!!!
dave making fun of ohio before it was cool to do so
From his lyrics I get the sense that Mustaine leans conservative. United Abominations is a great album with some great lyrics.
Well Tipper Gore is Al Gore’s Husband and he ran against Republican candidate George W. Bush, and we all know what Tipper Gore did in the 80s, so I’d imagine a lot of 80s rockers were more conservative
Lmao Dave has that newscaster accent, sounds a bit... off!
"Obviously he knows where to get beer too"
Haha, Great Video.
I know he performs in front of audience's worldwide, but his public mic skills in this context are really good.
While I was watching the first few seconds of the vid I didn't even realize that it was Dave. lol
He looks so different with glasses.
Dave rulez! Always Had..
0:55 most awesome line ever heard during the DNC!
THIS WAS MY LIFE...
You can really see the aura that Dave has. Most people are afraid to look him in the eyes, he can kick the shit out of anybody.
\m/ MUSTAINE \m/
I salute Dave Mustaine, he is really unique and talented journalist.
Thanx! Looking forward his new album! Cheers!
Dave was so on his game doing Choose or Lose. Besides being a musician, he is such a great salesman/reporter!!
Do you even know anything about Dave Mustaine? The central theme in his music has always been politics.
Wow... the 90s!!!
I'd like to see more videos like this, I mean musicians get into politics
That's true. Metallica writes sellers. But I will always choose Dave over Hetfield, because Dave's music isn't just about the devil and evil. It's about political outbreak and so on. There's meaning.
Dude, AJFA was pretty much all politics.

Forever.
Super i always new he is on the right side 😊
It's funny how the person that wrote "Dave for Pres" with a period got more thumbs up than the person that wrote it with an exclamation.
if i was there, I would be way to excited to see Dave to talk about politics and shit.
1:24 is hilarious :P
and i like how he pierces through oliver stone.... i wonder if dave still wants a woman in the white house ;)
lol so this is what Sebastian Bach was making fun of in the "James Hetfield Reading Axl Rose Rules" video XD
Dave Rules!
that guys hair four and a quarter minutes in is hilarious.

dave looks so wicked with a beard... i think he should grow himself one again!
WTF being interviewed by Mustaine ? xD

Why does every comment section on a megadeth or dave mustaine video turn into a discussion about metallica and megadeth?
dave rules!!!!
WTF? Is there anything Dave Mustaine has NOT done?

Does anyone hes talking to know he is a Metal God?
mustaine got a deeper voice

Um. Nope.
Especially not people who see electoral politics as a sham.
Check out the glasses!
If Mustaine became president he would send the Metallica guys to the electric chair
dave mustaine looks awesome with a goti
Ron Paul is the republican Jerry Brown. They are both awesome!
first he was republican now he's neutral
LMFOA Dave Mustaine "he knows is right n he knows where to get beer too" 0:55 - 0:58
Dave is a moderate, he said so several times. Some one that cool can't be a liberal.
But I live in that city! Who-hoo! It's a slum-hole!
if Dave Mustaine ever becomes President, i might then visit the US someday.

Awesome dave mustaine as the host for a political event now that's fun hosting the democratic convention while making fun of them
Why thankyou good sir :)
I wonder what they think about Jerry Brown now LOL
I remember watching this ... thank GOD he GREW UP since then, and has learned to think minus emotional REACTION, and has STARTED to use some LOGIC.
There's NO party to vote for Dave. Maybe, you've come to know that Know!?

@RideTheLightning101 He's conservative now that he's sober and a father. That kind of happens when you suddenly have something to lose.
Anybody at all feel that Mustaine kind of resembles and sounds like a cooler, more manly David Spade in this one video?
