Christians are followers of Jesus, who's greatest two commandments were to 1) Love God with all your soul, and 2) Love others as yourself. I’m a studio musician (guitar) & huge metal fan but admittedly have never been a huge Megadeth fan; I just happen to fall heavily on the Metallica side of the great devise if that makes any sense even though I respect and admire their talent immensely- but after seeing this, it was... like the wave that broke the dam for me in regards to the fact that Dave Mustaine is a real one... as real as it gets and I respect his honesty and admire his ability and choice to just speak his mind or tell HIS truth no matter what the subject or content has ever seemed to be. He’s just one of the few true stars or talents that has never come off as fake to me in a single interview, clip, or excerpt I’ve ever heard him do. Props to Dave, keep on rocking and commanding that fretboard like a 4 Star General as long as you can sir, we who truly love what the guitar can give and bring us absolutely salute you.
I was in a dark and lonely place ,with alcohol.Feeling i was well beyond redemption, listening to all genres of music.Now been alcohol free for nearly fifteen years,i feel no serious lonely negative feelings any more.I do rely on god as i know him to keep me sober.What ever is up lifting and positive i try to go after.Heavy metal is just another form of music.Some of it real positive stuff, some of it negative.What Dave talks about is real and has happened,he knows light and dark.Much better place to be,stay strong brother.

when I see stuff like this it makes me very happy I've always loved Dave. It sucks when someone who has realized the error of his ways is still derided for his mistakes, despite having long since atoned for them. I'm a drug addict, and after many years of smoking meth, one day, right before I smoked, a voice in my head made a request, that I offer up this one thing for this one thing.. and I did it. After that, the voices, which I later learned were Demons, found out I could hear them. That was the beginning of the end for me. Today I am not where I want to be, but by God's grace I am still alive and I can still make an effort to get better. Pray for the addict out there, a lot of them don't know what they are getting themselves into.

I always knew Dave was different and a total bad ass along with it. I always sensed strength in him. I always knew Dave was different and a total bad ass along with it. I always sensed strength in him. I know he could kick any member of Metallica's ass and probably most any body else's in rock but he's no bully. He also has strength like a cat, he will always land on his feet.
