It's so ironic that polio saved Rhea from an existence in a lab and gave her a real LIFE with a loving family. Seeing her snuggled up with Alex in the hammock brought me tears of joy!
I cried from that too but tears of sadness... I work at a hammock factory and I can see that hammock is unsafe and will soon collapse. It's ironic that the goat probably would've lived longer in a lab

It is, however, so much good medicines and products have come out of it, it's a necessary evil that we should work towards replacing, however its important to remember its benefits.

People don't give goats enough credit. I was one of these people, until I raised my 1st 2 week old billy goat.
I have raised 6 babies now and they all have their own unique personalities.
Every one of them knows their own names and show affection.
I could go on and on.

This story is the best ever, my heart sings. I have never owned a goat, this is an incredible animal. Beautiful, so playful and loving. So brave. I have owned special needs animals and they all have done exactly what they wanted with some help from me. They just want to live. I now have a blind cat who reminds me of Rhea. Goats have been a favourite animal of mine since I was small. I have a bunny and when he was small he reminded me of a baby goat. He hops and jumps and gets into places I didn't think bunnies could. One day though I'll have a place to have a goat or two. It's a goal of mine to have a mini sanctuary. So seeing these people saving animals, I love it.
Goats are incredibly in tune to your emotions. I am amazed how my goats insist on getting up in my face and looking me in the eyes, it’s like they can read my mind. They really are sweet, loving creatures. Even the naughty ones!

My family has raised goats for 40 plus years. They are great animals and can be very loving. They also live decently long lives. It’s great to see this one being taken good care of

It more likely they were used for medical testing. We use goats for toxicology testing. Greater good and all that.
😢 Indeed. The British government has announced that testing of beauty products products on animals can resume. After 25 years being banned. Also a highly toxic chemical can be used by farmers, despite the calamitous consequences for insect life, including pollinating bees. Human cruelty towards other beings knows no limit 😡!

My 17 year old pit passed back in April and these videos really make me miss him. I wish we could have taken more trips and walks. More rainy days to lie in bed. He was missing a back leg and I used to give him a good massage every day. Soon I'll adopt another dog. Griffin loved all animals, he would have been excited for another friend.
