Please don't feel any pressure to share your daughter with us-you don't even need to share her real name if you don't want to (that way she won't have an online presence/profile that she can't control). If you have the instinct to protect her identity, please follow that hunch without worrying about being "rude" or owing us anything!
100% yes! Children should not be online full stop. Of course when you do a vlog and they run around in the background that's maybe different (although their faces can be blurred) but showcasing them in any shape or form should be avoided for the children's sake.

As a parent myself, Protect your daughter as you were saying Jess. No matter what you do as her parents, the internet is not the place to put her at all these days! Her lil spirit and mind should stay far away from all the harsh and negative things of this world. I pray you are both doing well and Jess has a blessed wonderful delivery!
I definitely think keeping your children private is a great idea. Like Jess mentioned about creepy people being online is a big reason but not only that, it can also keep away the judgment of certain people that like to judge other people's parenting styles/choices. Maybe videos of your children can be uploaded privately or stored on a file away from the public eye. Either way, I know you'll decide on what you both think is the right decision :)
also , i think the children have their right to stay away from spotlights and it's the job of the parents to protect them . we all know that cyberbullying , invasion of privacy and creepy people affect the child in a very bad way . i think they can share some funny cute stories without oversharing .

Hope and pray that you never ever feel pressured or stressed or anything like that about showing your daughter on the internet. I mean, we may be dying to see vlogs which includes her but the most important thing is to protect her. Seeing so many family RUclips channels that exploit their children for views is so heartbreaking. Both of you will never be that kind of parents I know for sure but the internet, like you said Jess, has so many bad people and it's a tricky place. Sadly, there's no definite answer to how to deal with it, specially in this era. You can't totally keep her hidden either. Jess, I love you excitement for wanting a "slower pace" of life for your family unit! I grew up a few hours south of Nashville in Georgia, and my best core memories involve getting out in the garden or taking care of animals. I essentially grew up out in the yard whether it was domestic life or even being active, hitting softballs to my grandpa in the yard. So happy for you two!!

I hope y’all see this - as a mother, I hope you feel completely comfortable with the choice not to share your daughter. Remember that she will grow older and one day be able to tell you whether or not she wants to be shown online. You can always make that choice later on, but once you put her out there it’s going to be almost impossible to undo, especially when you lead such high-profile lives. Don’t worry about her wondering if you’re ashamed of her. I know you two are going to put so much effort and focus into building a good relationship with her and if you have her heart, it will be so easy to reassure her that you are proud of her and that your only concern is protecting her. This is a new age. Never before have such private and intimate moments of people’s lives been so accessible. In the end, I think it’s much more preferable to prioritize her safety and her own autonomy by keeping her away from the internet until she can at least consent to being part of your online lives, rather than putting her all over social media only for her to tell you later on that you wish she hadn’t. I too struggled with the fears of sharing our baby on social media, even though we are just normal people and don't have any significant following! So I can't imagine how conflicted you probably feel! After our baby was born, our pregnancy announcement didn't have her face in it, which people thought was kind of different I'm sure (and made me slightly sad) but I really was anxious with a public profile and old FB friends I wasn't sure I even knew anymore. However After 2 months in, for whatever reason my anxieties about sharing her face started to fade and I decided to go for it, which felt exciting for my friends to see her and give us affirmation/love. My philosophy is just try to just capture moments she's in vs. always sharing her face directly! Hopefully you will come to peace with whatever decisions you decide work best for YOU!

I commented on a previous video about how God has called us to live in TN as well. Trusting God with this change is HUGE, especially with how the housing market is right now. We’re a military family transitioning back to civilian life and we’re so excited to finally get back to the swing of things again. Jess, I have the EXACT same dreams for our kids… raising and having chickens, gardens, lots of acreage! I feel like our generation is slowly starting to transition back to that lifestyle. Jess is an old soul, very wise. Most people don't realize at such a young age that it's the simple things in life that matter most. Having your own land, living your life in and among nature is a beautiful beginning, and a wonderful gift to your children. It was the happiest time in my own childhood living on my grandparents farm, spending time exploring the land. Those closest to nature understand God.

If I was a RUclipsr and this is my first time starting a family, I feel like for at least 1-2 yrs, I wouldn’t share my daughter with the world. I mean that’s family bonding time away from the RUclips world. I mean I would probably include her in videos where a feet or legs will show up on the screen but that’s it. The face would prob be blurred or covered with an emoji to show privacy because at the end of the day it’s your family. If you want your fans to not see her face for a bit, we all need to respect that and thats fine. But whatever you both are comfortable with, I think the fans would love any way you guys could think of.

I'm so proud of you both and I love your journey as a couple, family and new parents soon it's amazing! So much love and blessings to you. We also had a similar experience. We moved from Vegas to Charlotte we didn't sell the house in Vegas and kept as a rental so in case in the future for some reason we can go back. So smart renting your Tennessee house until you know where you want to move. It's such a pretty area and so family friendly. Enjoy your time as 2 and your baby moon and yes enjoy every moment even us who aren't in the public eye for most of us that I know of or in my opinion I should say we showed baby's photos to close family and friends still now my girls are 2 and 3 the pressure to show your kids even in small family circles can be a lot lol so yes take your time, live in the moment, it's so special to keep memories and things to yourself too. love y’all!! if i’m being honest, pray about it. ask God to give you a clear indication through His word on what you need to do. personally, i would steer away from showing her if you are even having doubts now. maybe one picture or two isn’t bad but consistently posting her in vlogs may not be the best. it loses those personal, sweet moments you guys want to experience with her that shouldn’t be shared with the whole world. the fact that you are even considering not, shows how much y’all already love this baby!!!! you guys are so great ❤️

I think keeping your daughter away from social media is very new age and the reasoning is very valid . I’ve noticed a few new parents go about it in different ways, from not posting at all (only showing friends and family), to only posting photos but not showing the baby’s face.
I’m looking to not show my future kids faces and it’s something I’ve discussed with my boyfriend already. ✨
