The mdc aa is my backup light in my edc bag. Not the brightest but i want smth thats super durable and takes AA batteries when shtf. What better than a malkoff
I've had the MDC 1aa for about a year now. Absolutely love it. Was thinking about upgrading to the 2aa. I love the ability to throw in a AA in a pinch. Hoping they get back in stock soon. Malkoff take my money
Would you say that the 300 lumens of the MDC is sufficient for self defence? Considering the MDC HA TAC (which comes on in the highest mode) or the BOdyguard
Unfortunately you cant get Malkoff in Germany but I like them. 110 Lumen for AA isnt much. You can get single AA flashlights up to 350 lumen. Malkoff also has single heads for 3,7V so if this would fit the AA body you could use 14500 with much more output. This would be a dream of a flashlight.
U can alter low low mode in MDC AA by using either 1.2v, 1.5, or the weird Olight 2.4v 14500. I’ve had no issues with it and Gene said it’s fine. Have older xpg, xpg2, and sst20. Sold 219b version because of rings in beam.

Aa will most likely be the battery to be found if the shit hits the fan

Cheers brother
As a new flashlight enthusiast it’s a dream of my getting a malkoff, soon hopefully. Thanks for the review
Thanks for watching mate!
Google a 20% off coupon code. They usually work.
Have you reviewed the bodyguard?
Do you notice any flickering on the lower levels? I owned the mdc aa several years back and ended up selling it. Very nice lights BTW.
Na I have not noticed flicking on lower levels. But i did read about that some years ago. They must have fixed that issue
You sold a light which did flicker instead of complain to Malkoff? WTF!
@@GieszkannePWM isnt noticeable to everyone. Some people are more sensitive to it.
@@theflashlightchannelI hope you at least disclosed your experience with it lol. Note to self. Don’t buy a used light from this person
@@Gieszkannefor real lol

What about a rechargeable 3v cr123r?
Nope. Too much Voltage

J solo love your style...but keep it real. You already know.
the price/quality/benefit from Olight has yet to disappoint me. i am not an Olight fanboy. but the price/quality is unmatched
Fenix has also good quality for the price. And Wurkkos/Sofirn is quite cheapt compared to it but the quality is also good.
thank you i will check those out for sure!@@Gieszkanne
Obviously your not married...lol
Holy........pay way more for a light that sux.....I'm in. Sign me up.
A ran light or whatever....those lights suck.....cheese and rice . Terrible
