I think with football, the competition is so fierce...but it's such a strong fraternity because so few men know what it's like to put on the equipment and put your bodies on the line (literally). So at the end of the day, it's nothing but mutual respect among those who get into Canton

Flores won his 2 SB's with mostly Madden's teams. Madden built the Raiders into one of the greatest teams of the 70's and Flores took over and just didnt mess with the team. He'll get in one day but the HOF is more about icon status than anything else and Madden was also a broadcasting legend. Also Plunkett wasn't that good his teams around him were, just like Joe Namath but Namath was more famouse because of his lifestyle
