As far as getting your Egypt Tourism on, there's a mode you can select from the menu that lets you free roam the game world with no enemies and with hundreds of short lectures available from Egyptologists on pretty much every single historical thing in the game. They did the same for AC Odyssey and Valhalla as well.
However poorly people might see these RPG games, the tourism mode is so great. AC has always been about historical times but a whole mode dedicated to learning? That's a HUGE plus in my books
@@ghostdude9415 But Valhalla is different than Origins and Odyssey. I only just liked it in Valhalla to be honest. But wasn't as fascinated as I was with Origins and Odyssey.
As an Egyptian, I have been watching your reactions for 2 years, and when you started the AC series , I was eagerly waiting to watch you play AC Origins ♥ . you are the best Mage
One of the best AC games there is. Bayek is a very likable protagonist. The combat is quite difficult if you're not used to it, but it's worth mastering. The key to mastering the combat system is "timing" and "distance".
OMFGGGGG this is the one i've been waiting for! My favorite in the franchise, love the setting, story, characters, music, the overhauled combat, even the education mode was really cool. I was hooked on Bayek as a protagonist from the opening cutscene! (which no, it's not just you, he's hot XD). I would even put this game in my Top 5 games of all time.
Bayek and Senu's bond are extremely strong, i haven't watched super far yet but when you saw senu fly back down to you when you stand still long enough they interact if you keep standing there, like little scratches and such, chirps at bayek but there's one you missed then and idk if you ever saw it again, but senu looks over bayeks shoulder and bayek then looks as well and it's awesome, easily my favorite tiny details because their bond is so good that if senu thinks something is up bayek immediately pays attention as well and i love that about them
I am so hype for this game on your channel 😄 as I remember playing it for my birthday month and my goodness it was so beautiful and tear heavy journey. I can’t wait to see your gameplay journey in this game. So best of luck on the RPG mechanics and experience the new era of AC games
I'm glad you got to experience this. I've visited egypt years ago and I think they nailed the atmosphere of the ancient world in this game. I've completed all the side quests and DLCs because I was so into it. For someone who has always been interested in ancient egypts history, this is such a unique experience. One day I'll visit again and I hope you'll get the chance to do so, too. :-)
Admittedly I haven't played every single AC game as there are a lot, but I've played quite a few and this is one of my absolute favorites (along with AC2 then Black Flag for gameplay purposes). Bayek is an incredible character, the world is beautiful, great combat, etc... This game was so well rounded. I really wanna play it again now. Look forward to this playthrough!
Medjay were a nomadic race of people. They were so huge and strong they were enlisted to be the keepers of law. So much so, the word Medjay became synonymous with soldier/officer in Egypt. One of my favourite older culture to read and learn about.
I sunk my teeth into this game the first time i played it 160 hours and went for full completion i really found this game to be the best of the trilogies they put out that were rpg based this is a treat
Yep Origins completely revamped the entire combat system for Assassins Creed and in the background at the time, Ubisoft had somewhat scrapped the idea of releasing a new AC game annually so this came about 2 years after Syndicate. Also on a sidenote Bayek's intro of killing the guy and showing his full anger is probably one of my favorite openings of AC to date.
I was really excited when this game was announced. Because of how much i liked black flag, an AC egypt game sounded fire. But i didn't buy it until after i started playing Valhalla. I haven't gotten too far yet, but im enjoying traversing african landscape and fighting various animals.
assassin's creed origins & odyssey are 2 of my favorites in the RPG category (#1 is the witcher 3 of course 😏) the open world in these 2 is maddly stunning, colorful & historically accurate. hope you enjoy ✌🏻
Finally, an entertainment brand that actually depicts Ancient Egyptians/Kushites as they should be, people of African and Middle Eastern descent and not European White people with British accents, lol.
@@AfroBoyOdyssey For sure! Sorry to be an “actually” guy lol. I just find it interesting that we never talk about Arab colonialism, only Euro-colonization.
The absolute best quality of life update they did was letting you climb anything, anywhere. If you can see it you can climb it, it's beautiful. No more looking for specific pieces of wood to run up.
Looking forward to this one! In response to one of your pineapples, though you've somewhat figured it out... your weapons and bows come in different categories. Bows in particular, it makes a difference because it uses different ammo, so having one of each type is advisable, just in case you run out of one type of ammo! Breaking down unused weapons is good for collecting upgrade materials, which can be used with the blacksmith to upgrade weapons to your current level. Maybe I'll try to catch some of your streams for this one again! And no, I wouldn't smash with Bayak, that's a definite pass, but Aya now... ;-)
Ugh...I'm so excited to watch you play this game. This and Valhalla (edit: also Odyssey of course)...because the world is unbelievable huge and I, for myself, love to explore :D. What I also loved about this game, was the tour you could make around Egypt as different characters and learn things about Egyptian culture. And if you complete this tour, there is a present at the end. So interesting.
Been waiting to watch you play this one. I played it last year and and it has become my second favourite AC after Ezio series because Bayek is a badass.
I know you often have people saying to just do the main stories, but as always, I am fully in support of you doing everything you can and want to do in this game. Take all the time to explore all the little corners, and fully enjoy the story. And if you need an excuse for it, just say you're grinding for as much exp as you can! After all, what better excuse can you get than the fact that it's literally an RPG, to do as much as you want. But then again, I've always said, the few times I've commented, that you should play how you want, and do all the exploring and content you want, rather than focusing on specific parts; because, for me, the greatest joy is to see someone else enjoying something I enjoyed experience it as fully as they want. On a separate note, I don't know any Egyptian people personally, so I wanted to ask, do they generally consider themselves "Arabs"? I ask, because there are two ways I could see it going, as a person of Japanese descent. Either it would be like calling me "Asian," which I have no problem with, as it's just a more generalized term for the greater area my ancestry comes from. Or, it might be like calling me Chinese or Korean, which I'd find offensive, not because there'd be anything wrong with being either of those, but because it would be treating all the Asian cultures as if they were the same thing. So, is "Arab" the general term for Middle-eastern/Egyptian peoples, or is it something to keep in mind to avoid? I ask only because I'm not sure, and I don't want you to accidentally cause offense if it's not the correct term.
Good time)) Looked at how you play and i decided to replay the game again)) I advise you to go through the game in full, as well as Discovery Tour. I'm thinking of having a lot of fun. Sorry for my bad English, i use the program translator

Beautiful character, beautiful world, beautiful music, like a lot of other people I still kinda wish he had gotten a sequel
Bayek isnt Arab... He is Egyptian, a Hamitic people and related to Berbers. Not all middle easterners are Arab at all points in time or even today.
A common misconception
Bayek is one of my favourite protagonists from AC.Wish they made another game about him. They had gold on their hands with him.
