Understanding comms & bottom right text // This goes for all of our videos. You will notice the bottom right either has text or an image of the appropriate rank. Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

I've always said Royal's best feature is his communication, He's able to use his team like a tool to put himself into a situations that he will win in. This Challenge put him at an invisible challenge by taking away one of his best tools in his toolkit

instead of people volunteering for iron, you should scout them. Find true irons in spike rush and ask them to join. Fun content to do the interviews and people you meet too

Yall don’t realize how time consuming that would be to get enough irons who are willing to do it and are available at the same time for this through spike rush. You could end up needing a few hours just to find them, and then still gotta vet them anyways.
Do the same thing just check their rank

It’s because players active in the community tend to just be bad at the game but they try to improve and watch videos like the irons clearly couldn’t aim and shook around but they would jump peak or jiggle a bit because they would have seen that somewhere which is why low elo is so inconsistent
As a hardstuck Iron 3, I can confirm that Iron and Bronze players have gotten a lot better. The one taps and util usage have vastly improved among the low ranks. Communication really holds folks back, but honestly I think consistency is the biggest factor holding back the low ranks as a whole. You can go from having a nutty match where you go 30/10 and then the next game you go 3/15 😂

They aren’t. The amount of vetting we did was insane. It sounds like copium but as someone who is consistently doing custom games: Valorant ranks are completely messed up due to rank reset system. I had an ascendant in gold and after checking his tracker it all checked out 💀. Some irons are just rank reset golds from a few episodes ago
Just note I’m just saying not 50% ranks are wrong. Maybe one or two snuck in somehow but majority are proper ranks
@@ValorantCuriosIt really doesn't look like the average of each of the (early) ranks and I do believe around 80% of those players deserved to be titled under their respective ranks but there is always a few who may be using alts. Try see how active the accounts are and their performances from past episodes possibly. Dunno ur process tho

People don't realize how good low ranks are these days. The standards you have to reach, the lineups and mechanics you have to learn to just be bronze is insane

Why do y’all act like bronze or irons are brainless worms? Kinda embarrassing to admit, but I was silver hatdstuck as a Plat for a long period of time. It really is the ranking system we should blame.

Hi, btw im the gekko, I started playing val 2 acts ago, and I am very hardstuck iron 3 LOL. I was IGLing the entire match as well though and had invented the lineup the day before in a custom game. Im so happy that it worked

Honestly I’m iron/bronze and this seems like my normal lobbies when we have communications and a team that work together, the biggest issue with low ranks is everyone wants to be better then everyone else and take unnecessary risks because they don’t talk to their team first. I can often drop 30 kills and lose because my team won’t listen and drop like 1-7 kills each or afk
Not to say I don’t have bad games too, but it seems like it’s mostly just high egos and no game sense with a little tooo much confidence
You’re all bad tho so having a decent game where your aim is 10% better than usual then you’re obviously gonna cook, there is no team play to counter good aim in low ranks

Irons today are episode 1 & 2 golds in terms of skill. Ranks change and evolve a lot

3:00 ngl first time i watched a radiant using their brain against iron nonetheless. Usually the radiant are just going full ego with their aim
He has always done challenges that may sometimes makes him start from lower elos (although he most likely encounter the higher elos compared to iron/bronzes) and he knew how weird other elo players could be xD
I also appreciate how he does his shots as calm and has thought process done before just rushing site.
This also helped when he tries to do a team play in his usual comp games.
15:23 If you wanna avoid getting 1 tapped, crouch. If you know they'll aim for your noggin, make sure to avoid doing a standard peek to avoid crosshair placement. The plat raze at 31:10 has the idea.

with the new rr system iron 1 are the actual irons, iron 2 and 3 are silver-plat players in the absolute pits of elo hell, bronze is actual bronze players, silver is silver and gold players, gold is anywhere between gold and radiant players its insane
Gold is consistently full of plats (in my case) or diamonds sometimes

I was salty Batman/clove on the iron team. I just started playing you can check my tracker. I have the worst one. I can say for a fact I deserved iron when this was being recorded. I would not lie in a video. This was my rank. Back then I peaked iron 3 I couldn’t get out of it. It was just good coms by our team. My diamond friend taught me some things, so I just used it in the match

I think a people really overestimate how bad some low elo players are. As someone who’s been fluctuating iron/bronze, I will sometimes see jump peeks, and get hit by the nastiest headshots.
Other times two people will unload entire clips into the air around each other. The biggest weakness I tend to see, is just inconsistency. In myself and others, one game is an absolute frag next is the worst performance you’ll ever see.
