I have been watching all video classes of Madam Rebecca since 2019, which are very simple to understand the concepts of the English language. I like to thank madam Rebbeca and the engVid education institute.
i really appreciate your kind to teach us by using correct usage of English grammar...I'm from Philippines...and i remember my teacher's when i was in school..well.your teaching style is more likely the same as many teacher's here in the in the Philippines...they are very great by that kind of way.. as well as you ma'am...thank you,,,,.
She discussed it so well and we like it ... We learned a lot about basic English grammar , so we are very thankful for that :-) More power and god bless you .
I really love all your lessons!!! Wish I could have learned English from you….when I was young. Thank you very much for the clear and simple explanations for us!
The teacher said "Thank you so much for watching THIS lesson" because the lesson was still on even though she was wrapping it up.To your comment: Wouldn't it be Thank you so much for THAT lesson.? By the time you typed the comment the lesson was over.T Just wondering ...
Haha, good point. However, still think "thank you for this lesson" is better because it implies a closer distance to the object i.e. the lesson. "Thank you for that lesson" suggests more distance e.g. a lesson from before :-)
I know this is a helpful one. grammar is only a guide when you are learning languages. the most effective way on how to get the fluency that you want, is just to speak a lot rather than studying grammar alone. I have been studying English for a long time. now in order for me to me able to express my thoughts, feelings and ideas in English, i will speak a lot..
I love teacher Rebecca's lessons and I understand each and everything, the problem is that I can't speak 😢😢.in other words I have Goid English in my brain 🧠 and when it comes to speaking I can't.
Hi. I would like to know what should we use when we have more than one singular noun. For instance .... There are also active games. These are basketball, football and badminton or This is basketball, football and badminton...
The point about introduction has the same meaning as the first one about an object being near or far from you. if you are introducing a person by saying this is my friend it means that he's standing close to you or near you and if you're saying that is my brother John that means that he is standing far away. So I don't really get the difference between the 1st and the lost points.
thank you Rebbeca, I have still confussion with IT. sometimes i hear something like: "Why THIS sudden reaction? Well IT is not really so sudden reaction." Why IT? why not THIS again or THAT?
Thank you, Rebecca. Your video lessons are very clear and succinct. I use them to teach my ESL classes.
wish I had teacher like you during my school days then I would have expertise in using english language.
