I used Zimmermann Coat Z discs with Textar brake pads 10 years ago on my 2000 VW GTI 1.8T. They are just the best! Next time same I will use the same recipe on my Audi. In a few years I’m thinking of buying a 99 or 2000 R129 dreamcar.

Are the Brembo pads pretty lean in the dust producing effect?
They are the best. And what little dust they do produce you won't see it nor will it stain the allow wheels. :-)

did merc ever put a limited slip diff in these models?
W123? No, not unfortunately. Post-factory installations, from other models, were somewhat common.
if you have girling calipers can you replace them with new ATE
If you have a W123 chassis the answer is yes you can.
@@Mercedessource so on a w126 it will need to be replaced with girling only? Thanks and happy thanks giving!
@@1995bulldog It might depend on which W126 and whether or not it is a European model. Not sure about 560SEL and 560SEC.

Both sides rear. Included 2 rotors and 4 pads.
That is a great price. Will that work for a 1985 380sl?
