Teardown looks like a really fun game I would like to play it my only complaint is that physics could be a little better instead of one boxel being able to support the entire building
While the engine is capable of buildings collapsing when there isn't enough support your complaint is actually intended. It would damper gameplay if buildings would collapse with a lack of support. The puzzle aspect would be an even bigger headache and the action based levels would be more frustrating as buildings collapse on top of you while being fired at by attack helicopters. Despite this, if you still need that feature there are mods available that adds this to the game. Admittedly, it does make the sandbox a lot more fun.
Been loving the game, I actually find that the missions are the best thing for the game. I spend almost 30 minutes wreaking havoc and looking for items, plan a path to complete the objects, and hope it works! The quick save feature is nice as it makes you not need to prep the map for the mission again. The thing that makes the game is the unlimited time to enjoy a map, plus the payoff of planning and executing a heist. Sandbox mode is always an option for a chill experience.
Bro your complaining about worrying about the objective and how and can be puzzling and make you use your brain on what you need to destroy? C'mon really? Did you just want to destroy stuff and that's it!? Go play minecraft with tnt mods and download maps dude.
You haven’t looked at the modding support, or any of the part 2 campaign which changes everything up. And the format makes sense as having just a destruction game would get very old quickly. It is perfectly balanced in my opinion. Also, you think too small!
teardown is made to think out of the box thats the whole point of the campainge if you dont like that play sandbox and instal some mods btw headbobing can be turned down / of
There's a lot more thought in this game than I guessed before I played it. I would have liked to have seen a mechanic in some levels that gives players points for the amount of destruction in a specific amount of time. The faster you break stuff the more points you get.
I don't get the complaints. If you just want to smash shit up - go play the sandbox mode? I really hope reviews like this don't put off people from trying out the game. It's fantastic. So much better than the AAA bullshit we get nowadays.
I hate the campaign, the heists are just no fun but rather annoying. I thought you could remove pieces of walls with the alarm system attached to it to complete the mission.. but no.. it's a speedrunners game. I wish there was more focus on the destruction.. and yes, i know there is a sandbox mode but do you know how to get all the levels? Finishing an utterly annoying campaign
@@HanuNLyeah the speed run stuff pretty well ruined all the fun of the game's main meta. It was just a quick and dirty way to give it some semblance of actually being a game. Without that speed run heisting, it would be nothing more than a tech demo. This game was a lazy cash grab.
Well they could have made a campaign about destruction in a fun way. Like "destroy x building in.... time" or give you a limited toolset to achieve that goal.
Most people actually think they like this game until they try to play themselves and realize they don’t have a quantum flux capacitor computer from the future like “influencers” have so it’s nothing but frame rate drops and crashes.
How the hell is the lighting this gorgeous in a voxel based game? Wow
Because it is RayTraced.
A custom solution made for the voxel world.
Just you look at the new levels they made. You will be drooling
Same thing I felt about with Valheim. 1gb sized game with amazing use of post processing effects.
@s4shrish you're RayTraced
@@TheTuttle99im gonna make you raytraced
It gets you to realize how most games are still in the Stone Age physics wise
Ergo, Minecraft.
It’s overwhelmingly positive on Steam for a good reason.
yes
As someone who has never played it i can safely say its amazing
I tried it for 90 minutes but I'm already bored... I'm in doubt if I should refund or not
@@ShittyWankDemon were you in the campaign? or in sandbox?
if you're in the sandbox then you might want to add some mods to your gameplay

Didn't even mention the sandbox mode and mods? That's where all the fun is!

I just finished part 1 in this game today and god can I say I become a glowing brain genius when I figure out a plan

*Man destroys huge section of wall to leave house*
*Notices door to left of hole in wall he just made*
*Destroys door*
*Leaves through hole in wall*
Pretty epic

you can kind of tell this reviewer hasn't played an immersive sim before
where is the immersive sim part?
7 is a lowball imo atleast a 9
no 11 in my opinion
I think the failure to account for mod support is really doing the game an injustice
we need a killdozer game
Not even going to mention how this game has some of the best fire mechanics of any game I’ve ever seen?
10/10
no buts
and bust the wall!
On a scale of 1-10 how good does your pc need to be?
Install performance mod 2.7 and use russian coil gun rmb attack to fully disintegrate voxels to return some fps.
Where's that performance mod?
It’s coming to console I’m getting it on Xbox series s so excited
For those who've tried or heard about. If there is one, how's the multiplayer mod?

What is the age rating in this game ?
13+ cuz it has vandalism. But who cares? :)
18+ cause it has sexual content, not recommended for kids, this game is just as bad as minecraft very inapropiate
@@k_oteyit does not have sexual and gore
I think that was a good and modest review great job!
Watched the whole thing. What is the objective of the game exactly?? We’re pretty vague and didn’t tell me what you’re supposed to be doing
It'd near impossblie to without huge spoilers
kinda like Blast Corps 4 the N64?
These was on playstIon showcase why not buy it for steam deck so you have now and portable instead on waiting for project q?
I’m get it on Xbox series s when it comes out
Just bought it on steam deck, it’s amazing

Teardown 4.5/10. The only thing that really carries it is the modding community. Standalone - it's forgettable.
