- In Your Words guitar cover originally by Lamb of God - with tabs!
Tuning - Drop D.
So this one has some tricky riffs. For the main riff mainly stick to alternate picking. For the first time half of the riff I start it with a down stroke, when it goes to 12, 0, 12, 0, the second time I start on an upstroke so that the 5 on the low D is played with a down stroke.
For the last portion of the song there's several layers that build up. I'd suggest picking the octave melodies rather than the single note lines. The 16, 12, 0, 12, part is also a good choice and fun to play.
Take it slow and keep practising and you'll nail it 🤘

First time I heard this song was at a party at my supervisors house. He had some metal music channel on the intro hit and it immediately grabbed my attention he yelled out should I turn it? I yelled above everybody hell no let it play. My favorite lamb of god song.

the main intro riff is not played on 12th fret but on 5th of the 2nd string, which sound more "aggressive" :)

I'm running all plugins, my typical chain is the TSE 808 -> Le456 or Ignite Amps Emissary -> A mix of God's cab and Marshall impulses loaded into an IR loader.

Gain about 5/6 , bass 6, mids scooped a little around 3/4 treble 5? Please tell me xd i cant do it alone, the sound is close but not enough xd
That sounds about right, I find that LoG don't have a huge amount of gain on their sound and it's quite a level eq

I have a fender strat, do you think i can get a similar sound like yours?
If it's got single coil pickups you might struggle to get the same thickness to the tone. They tend to have a more twangy characteristic

I think I just didn't palm mute up high enough on the string to get a solid mute
I try to find a comment about the tone but can find one. What did u use for that tone? It sounds like a ton of bricks!
Sorry it took a while to get back to you! I use the Le456 and Tse 808 plugins a lot as well as the Ignite amps Emissary plugin.

It is a bit of a pain yes.... some quite awkward runs in it.

Oh man I hate to be that guy, but the very first riff you’re not even playing right. You’re not even palm muting the open strings
My hand was probably too near the bridge to get that really tight mute so they've bled too much
I don’t think any of the riffs played here are correct. Every one sounds slightly off
