When I was down, she was always there to give me a hand and something to believe in through her music. Dolores had an unparallaled talent. I love many female artists from many different genres, but Dolore's the only one that deserves the title of The greatest female artist of the last 3 decades. Her voice, the way she shared so many feelings and profound ideas through her songs, that unique essence she had... Always be remembered and always the best for me.

My daughter passed from brain cancer aged 9. The one song she asked me to make sure was played at her funeral was this..i did as she requested..it still hurts but also celebrates her..thank Dolores and take care of her until i arrive ❤

I honestly can't say I've ever felt such a strong connection about any other band in my life. I will always treasure and love their music my whole life through, I'm sure of it.

Is it silly that I still cry over the loss of Dolores? How is it possible that her music can touch the very core of me and she not ever know who I am. I don't think she really had any idea of just how much she meant to us. She makes me proud to be an Irish American. Due to Zombie, I read up and educated myself on the history of my homeland and it made me cry. People should not have to die over their choice of religion. I saw a show where the Gin Blossoms opened for Toad the Wet Sprocket and while waiting for the show to start I won a Soul Asylum CD for having a certain combination of #s in the serial number on a $5 bill. :)
I get a sick feeling inside when the thoughts of her absence creep into my mind, particularly when I listen to and acknowledge how talented as well as beautifully graceful and down to earth or even worse watch a video. You can clearly see how unassuming and perhaps a little shy when talking to a tv host before and after their performance. It might just be me but I'm glad I don't see too many comments where people compare Dolores to Sinead O`Conner. Both ladies have strong beliefs but we all know which one repeatedly looked like a psychopath on live TV.

We have lost the ability to really connect with the music, or is it the music we are presented with I don't listen to much music these days you know why, I am grateful for all the memories I have of being at my lowest and highest points of my life to date. Because music was my refuge, I am grateful to being able to go back and listen I only hope our youth have this especially now I see a change in my children I hope it doesn't last long or maybe just play a song from your past that helped you in your past. Yes! That is so wonderful when you see artists with that spontaneous expression of joy in how they sound. As many times as she has sung this, in that one moment you can see that it is still fulfilling and makes her happy to sing it well.
Never will we have such a unique voice in music....................You may not have been a fan of the cranberries, but if you grew up in the 90's and 2000's you knew immediately it was the cranberries the minute Dolores began singing. You know I heard this saying when I was so very Young and in my life of now 62 plus years, it has proven time and time again to be so very true - 'Only The Good Die Young' - So True - D was such an enormous talent - we whom she left behind have the fortune of being able to cherish the music she gifted to us.
What a loss to this world. This lady was an icon and what a sweet voice. She sings and my soul melts. Very few folks can do this. God bless her.
I first heard the Cranberries during my first trip to Ireland in 1994. They were THE band that year. A year later, they were big in Europe. Now what's interesting is that I was thinking about the Cranberries about an hour prior to seeing this on RUclips. Thank you so much and RIP Dolores. You will never be forgotten.
My brother just passed away at 50 from a possible heart attack he was a combat navy veteran I'm a disabled combat army veteran and I had her music played at his funeral last week I can't listen to her music without crying I'm 47 so we were pretty close brothers I'm lost because I feel lost living alone now 😢 💔 😔

We have lost the ability to really connect with the music, or is it the music we are presented with I don't listen to much music these days you know why, I am grateful for all the memories I have of being at my lowest and highest points of my life to date. Because music was my refuge, I am grateful to being able to go back and listen I only hope our youth have this especially now I see a change in my children I hope it doesn't last long or maybe just play a song from your past that helped you in your past. Never will we have such a unique voice in music....................You may not have been a fan of the cranberries, but if you grew up in the 90's and 2000's you knew immediately it was the cranberries the minute Dolores began singing.
