  • I wanted to compare the Casio ERF-S107D against the MQ24. These are two very different watches.
From the Edifice line, the EFR-S107D is a sleek and slim analog watch with a stainless steel case. It features a minimalist dial with a date display and is water-resistant up to 100 meters. Its modern, streamlined design makes it perfect for those looking for a sophisticated yet practical everyday watch.
A simple, no-frills timepiece, the MQ-24 is a lightweight analog watch with a resin case and band. It features water resistance for everyday use and is popular for its minimalist design, making it an affordable, casual option for daily wear.

What a beautiful Edifice which unfortunately isn’t available here in India.
I had to settle for its siblings S108 and S567D (a kind of its Chronograph variant).
But S107 is my favorite of the three !

I think the S107 is the best out of the bunch. Great dial.

I'm not familiar with the G1224 watch, but I've tried to stay away from clear straps because of the coloring issue.

To me 24 would be a perfect watch without seconds hand. Now it's mimicking other watches still not being bare minimum. I get why - seconds hand lets one know when to replace battery and that movement simply has a seconds hand, so no one bothered.

Well, you can remove that hand yourself. Second hand shows that watch actually works and did not run out of battery.

I know same if minute hand has moved after a while. If watch hasn't moved since yesterday I know battery is flat. If time is significantly off, I know battery is close to being flat. Or watch is toast.

I like the seconds hand because it adds movement to a pretty stale watch.
