My toxic trait is watching a RUclips video and starting knew hobbies i think ill master but really have no idea how much hard work and dedication goes into it😂 i think I'll be good at anything i do instantly and clearly we all have to learn and practice to get there. I hype myself up so much and then im utterly disappointed when i cant do it "right" 😭 sorry for ranting, but great video. I love the characters. My 5year old is currently screaming in my ear " Inside outtt" 😂
Aw don't worry about having a rant 😊 it sounds familiar, I can do this too 😊 please try not to give yourself a hard time when it doesn't go right, I make lots of mistakes, but needle felting is very forgiving and you can easily correct them 😊 thanks for your lovely comments and thanks for watching
I really don't think I ever would have been able to learn this hobby before RUclips existed. Your videos provide so much more information, tips/tricks, and encouragement than any book ever could. You've even taken the time in videos to demonstrate what correct size needles should SOUND like! I've been wanting to learn to felt for quite some time, but how that I have access to such amazing quality and content in your videos, I have the courage go actually start!
Ha! Extending the legs through the base is a brilliant solution and exactly 24 hours too late 😆 I made a figure last night and used a base like yours; but because I just felted my figure's shoes onto the top of the base; I then had to weight the base to stop him toppling over. I used air rifle pellets to weight it; which worked well except (not surprisingly) I broke 2 needles while I was felting it. I also gave him a sign to hold which helped prop him up. Your solution is so much better. BTW I made some puffins stand up by super-gluing them to a small smooth pebble. Loving your work as always.
Aw what a shame, sorry it's just a bit too late, but hopefully helpful for next time 😊 I like the idea of super gluing the puffins to a pebble 👍 I can imagine that looking good, thanks for these comments and thanks for watching
Aaaah perfect timing :D I’ve been trying to make a figure for the last couple of months (including ridiculously long breaks) but I couldn’t figure out how to make him stand up 😅 thanks for this video ^^
You're so generous to share your discoveries! No one else has such unique and useful tips.
Aw thank you for this, that's very kind, I'm so glad you find my tips helpful, thanks for watching

I love how sadness doesn’t stand though! It’s so like sadness not to stand. Love your videos. I’ve been watching them while felting.
Yes Sadness really doesn't suit standing up 😁 thanks for the lovely comments, that's a great thing to do while felting 😊 thanks for watching
