    For anyone running into sizing issues, you can make the starting chain length any amount so long as its a multiple of 10.
    - From the starting chain, count 10 and double crochet into the 10th chain (not the 14th). From there, chain 5, skip 5, and double crochet into the 5th chain. You might not end up with 10 holes like Mae has but thats okay cause its meant for your size.
    - Once you finish the first row, chain 5, flip your work and double crochet into the first hole. Chain 5 and repeat into the next hole until you finish the row.
    - Repeat that until you get the desired length from the rows.
    - Start your next row after your desired length but only double crochet into the two holes to your right. After that chain 30 and double crochet into the 3rd hole from the left and continue in the remaining two holes until the end. This is the part that confused me but starting at the 3rd will give you two hole above that row as is needed for the shoulder parts. **I would stitch marker each hole on the end of the neck hole so you dont get lost for the next row.
    - Double crochet into the next two holes and once you reach the chain 30, chain 5, skip 5, double crochet into the 5th and repeat until you reach the two holes on the right side, double crochet into them and then continue the rest of the rows like before.
    Hope this helps!! Thank you for the tutorial!

    Just curious, you made ONE size. How do you measure for other sizes?

    • @anuncolonizedmind6296
      @anuncolonizedmind6296 5 месяцев назад +2

      You would probably measure with your starting chain. Chain until it's long enough 🤷🏾‍♀️

    Beautiful top 🔥. If i wanted to close the sides would you recommend slip stitch or single crochet?

    Hope you could help me. I tried chaining 80 since I wanted a bigger size, how many stitches/holes should I skip for my first row?

    • @sukaristudio
      @sukaristudio  Год назад +4

      if you did 80 chains and you want the same hole size as mine, for the first hole you should skip 10 stitches instead of 5, and then you can start chaining 5, & skipping 5 stitches until you get to the end. i just did it myself and you should have 15 rows(:

      @@sukaristudio @mae.sukari hi so I really like this simple yet really nice tunic can you please help me understand the directions you're giving for the largest size on your first hole you skipped 13 and worked in the 14 the stitch so how would we only skip 10? I'm an adventurous newbie 😇 thanks in advance

      Was your subsequent holes slightly larger than your first hole?

    • @sukaristudio
      @sukaristudio  Год назад +2

      @@kimberlyhernandez6558 The video tutorial is really just me freehanding an xs size. Since she asked for a larger size, I went back and did it myself & gave her an actual pattern just in case anybody else wants to make the large size too. So in the first hole you should be skipping double. Since she wanted the same hole size as me (5 by 5) I told her to skip 10 in the first hole. Let's say you want your holes to be 4 by 4, in the first hole I would skip 8 so the size can match the rest of your holes. In the video I was eyeing the first hole because it was a freehand project. Hopefully this explanation sense!

    Hello, I'm using a thinner yarn and 3.75 mm hook. Could You tell me how long (inches or cm ) is the base chain?
    should I make the base chain according to My under bust measurement ?🫣

    • @sukaristudio
      @sukaristudio  Год назад

      hey! yeah you have to measure your underbust for the base chain(:
